Day 30: Always Forgiven

We have been daily traveling together through

AUGUST,

by

WALKING THROUGH THE OPEN DOOR

Devotional Series.

THE OPEN DOOR is JESUS

and

HIS DOOR IS ALWAYS OPENED!

But sometimes I live as if

HIS DOOR is CLOSED

and that HE will not OPEN it for me

until

I have to do this or do that

so that I am

ACCEPTABLE ENOUGH

for all of those who see me as

UNACCEPTABLE.

Those times when

I don't measure up to meet other's standards that are placed on me.

I always take seriously what is said about me,

that leads me to look

deeper within myself

to see

if there is something that I may not see about myself

that others may see.

As I know I am FLAWED.

Therefore,

when I know that I am wrong,

I will ask for FORGIVENESS.

When I know that I have hurt another one,

I will ask for FORGIVENESS.

And then I leave it to

GOD,

especially when my

I AM SORRY isn't SORRY ENOUGH

from those who I am asking

FORGIVENESS.

Hmm.

What if GOD was like that.

Think about this.

What if when you

ASK FOR FORGIVENESS from GOD,

but then

HE

tells you

that you have to

try harder & strive harder

to prove your innocence

before

HE FORGIVES you?

Yikes.

Would GOD?

Oh never,

because

why else would

HE

have built the CROSS

for HIS SON

to

become

FORGIVENESS for ALL.

For JESUS demonstrated FORGIVENESS,

not only by taking the NAILS for every wrong doing

for ALL,

as HE was bleeding to DEATH

on HIS CROSS,

but that

HE even FORGAVE,

the GUILTY ONE who hung next to HIM.

. "If we confess our sins, HE is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and

to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"

(1 John 1:9)].

Hmm.

So if you ever wonder if you have to

DO something MORE than

just to ASK GOD to FORGIVE you,

there is ONLY ONE thing that is necessary,

and that is to

RECEIVE and BELIEVE

in

"THE MAN ON THE MIDDLE CROSS"

(listen to the song below)
