HE always does
even if you don't BELIEVE HE does
because GOD knows only to be
HIMSELF
&
HIMSELF is unlike anyone else.
Because no matter how you slice it,
even if you try to debate HIM
with a "BUT GOD"
HE is so GRACIOUS
that HE allows you to question HIM.
I believe HE is just so happy that you are talking to HIM
because if you are talking to HIM
then you are in relationship with HIM
&
if you are in relationship with HIM
then
HE will meet you right where you are
&
will respond to you
without words
because it is
HIMSELF who fills your heart
with more than words
because
HIS WORDS
are living,
beyond your understanding,
because you & I can never
and no other person on the face of this earth
can ever do what only GOD can do.
And the crazy thing is that all it takes
is one conversation
&
sometimes without words
as you look up
&
acknowledge
GOD
who
welcomes everyone,
yet HE isn't alone
because there is
HIS SON sitting with HIM
with HIS open arms
just ready
at every tick of the clock
to greet
you.
And not just hear you,
but to really listen to your heart
so HE can respond
with such a surreal response
that you start to wonder if it is really happening.
Because when GOD happens you can't explain it.
It is so beautifully precious
that it changes you in that very moment
that lasts for eternity.
And even if your conversation begins with a
"BUT GOD"
HE meets you right where you are
right where you are feeling
right where you may wish that you weren't.
I think of David
who never paraphrased his conversations with GOD
and GOD never paraphrased back to David,
for TRUTH is never paraphrased
for
HIS TRUTH is always TRUTH
that never changes
even if everything around you changes.
"BUT YOU, O LORD, are a GOD merciful and gracious,
slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness" (Psalm 86:15)
BUT GOD doesn't speak dead words,
for HIS WORD rose from the dead.
Oh may you experience HIS LOVE that goes beyond just a one sided conversation
because GOD is not like any other human on the face of the earth
because when HE says BUT
you better listen
because BUT GOD trumps every question imaginable
because
"BUT GOD demonstrates HIS own love for us in this:
While we were still sinners, CHRIST died for us" (Romans 5:8)
So when you ask
BUT GOD
be ever so thankful
that you can talk to HIM
just because
HE is oh so real
because
