Day 3: Trust Believes

GOD never stops SHOWING UP,
because HE is everywhere.
The question is not,
"Where is GOD?"
The question is,
"Am I looking for HIM?"
Sometimes we MISS HIM
because we are looking for the answer to a prayer
instead of the ONE
who answers prayer.
Sometimes we MISS HIM
because we make life about ourselves
instead of about HIM.
Maybe not you,
but I know I have.
I didn't think I did,
until GOD
made HIS PRESENCE
so real to me
that I felt like a little ant
in this great big world.
And you know what?
I like being an ant.
An ant is always searching for food.
And when it finds it,
it gathers with other ants
who have discovered the same treasure.
REAL FOOD.
"Taste and see that the LORD is good" (Psalm 34:8).
Oh,
GOD IS GOOD,
all the time~
even when
all things
are not so good.
So where is GOD?
He is found
where there is
TRUST.
"TRUST in the LORD with all your heart,and lean not on your own understanding;i n all your ways acknowledge HIM,and HE will direct your paths" (Proverbs 3:5–6).
TRUST TRUSTS
when doubt whispers.
TRUST TRUSTS
when fear surrounds.
TRUST TRUSTS
when bitterness takes root.
TRUST trusts
when sorrow fills the heart.
Because TRUST
turns your eyes
from your circumstances
to our SAVIOR.
And where there is TRUST,
there is JESUS.
JESUS
came to earth
wrapped in the humility
of a BABY.
A tiny baby.
The CREATOR
became a child.
The KING OF KINGS
entered His creation
as one of us,
so that He could save
all of us.
To TRUST GOD
is to TRUST HIS SON.
And the ONE
in whom you place your trust
is the ONE
you truly believe.
"Do not let your hearts be troubled.Believe in GOD;believe also in ME "
(John 14:1).
JESUS
came to earth
dressed as a BABY.
Unbelievable,
yet completely believable,
because
THE BABY
grew up.
*"After JESUS was baptized,HE came up immediately out of the water,and behold, the heavens were opened,and John saw the SPIRIT OF GOD descending like a doveand resting upon HIM.
And a voice from heaven said,'This is MY beloved SON,in whom I am well pleased'"
*(Matthew 3:16–17).
Suddenly,
THE LITTLE BABY
became very, very big.
For JESUS
began the ministry
HE was born to fulfill,
and completed it
when HE declared,
"IT IS FINISHED."
THE CROSS
was not the end.
It was the beginning.
For when
JESUS
gave HIS life,
new life
began
for one
and for all,
because
JESUS ROSE
from the dead.
That,
my friend,
is what CHRISTMAS
has always been about~
from the CRADLE to the CROSS,
to the EMPTY TOMB.
So today,
have a CHRISTMAS
in your heart
that lasts forever.
