I wish I was a caterpillar, as its life seems so simple.
It crawls through life, until GOD’S PERFECT TIMING,
when it COCOONS itself in the
transformation process of
WAIT
to become a butterfly.
But what if the caterpillar
is
ANXIOUS and WORRIED,
the moment it becomes COCOONED in the darkness.
Does it question GOD'S PROCESS?
Would it be excited that it was to become a butterfly,
or terrified of losing its legs to gain wings?
Hmm.
Oh if I was a caterpillar
I would be so
STILL when I was
COCOONED in WAIT,
because I would be filled with great expectation
to be able to fly.
Hmm.
But I am way too human.
I don't like the darkness of the COCOON,
when I can't SEE what GOD is doing.
Yet I have the choice
to embrace GOD'S PROCESS,
as I rest in HIS HANDS
as HE molds and shapes me into something so beautiful,
that is way better than anything I could ever imagine.
ToHUMBLY SUBMIT to my MAKER
as I
release any ANXIETY or WORRY that strives to creep into
the UNKNOWN of the WAIT.
FIRST THINGS FIRST.
DEAR GOD,
I am ANXIOUS and WORRIED about ____________.
I release to YOU _____________ & _____________.
I thank YOU for ALL that YOU are doing in my heart
through the process.
For I am a butterfly COCOONED in YOU,
who flutters
to
rise above
THE WAIT
as
YOUR PEACE overtakes the darkness of the cocoon.
FIRST THINGS FIRST.
"Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. And the peace of GOD [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds IN CHRIST JESUS [is yours]"
(Philippians 4:6-7).
For you and I are
"ANXIOUS FOR NOTHING"
