Day 3: Life Never Dies

LIFE can be so happy and so sad at the same time.

There are the happy times as a baby is welcomed into the world.

There are the heartbreaking beyond sad times when a LIFE

leaves this earth.

DEATH does not discriminate, as it receives all ages.

It takes the elderly who have been sick for some time.

But it still hurts so.

It takes the middle age unexpectedly without a good-bye.

No matter how you look at it

DEATH is DEATH and it hurts.

As my hubby & I will be attending two funerals today,

my heart breaks for the family of the one who was elderly and

the family of the one who left unexpectedly at the age of 62.

DEATH comes unannounced.

We know the TRUTH that no one is exempt,

but it comes as a thief

robbing the last breath that will ever be taken on this earth.

But LIFE stills go on for those left behind

But GOD has told us that DEATH is a part of LIFE

yet we act all so surprised when it comes~

"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:

a time to be born and a time to die...." (Ecclesiastes 3:1-2).

But GOD doesn't stop there.

Because GOD is so GOOD

that HE has taken care of DEATH

as DEATH is never final~

"But let me tell you something wonderful, a mystery I’ll probably never fully understand.

We’re not all going to die—but we are all going to be changed.

You hear a blast to end all blasts from a trumpet, and in the time that you look up and blink your eyes—it’s over. On signal from that trumpet from heaven, the dead will be up and out of their graves, beyond the reach of death, never to die again. At the same moment and in the same way, we’ll all be changed. In the resurrection scheme of things, this has to happen: everything perishable taken off the shelves and replaced by the imperishable, this mortal replaced by the immortal. Then the saying will come true:

Death swallowed by triumphant Life!

Who got the last word, oh, Death?

Oh, Death, who’s afraid of you now?

It was sin that made death so frightening and law-code guilt that gave sin its leverage, its destructive power. But now in a single victorious stroke of Life, all three—sin, guilt, death—are gone, the gift of our MASTER, JESUS CHRIST. Thank GOD!" (1 Corinthians 15:55-57 MSG)

Oh the JOY that is for all who BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST

who never stops breathing LIFE into us

FOREVER.

Even though GRIEF remains on earth over the great loss of great lives,

one day LIFE will be BLOOMING for all so that no one will ever have to GRIEVE~

"He’ll wipe every tear from their eyes. Death is gone for good—tears gone, crying gone, pain gone—all the first order of things gone” (Revelation 21:4-5).

But for now we stay yoked to JESUS

who never stops

BLOOMING LIFE into our lungs

equipping us with all we need to walk through

the good times and the not so good times.

LIFE is so very fragile,

so let's open up our hearts

and LOVE those who GOD has placed in our lives,

for LIFE here on earth is just a breath

until

death takes us to our forever

"HOME"

(listen to the song below)
