You just can't stop thinking about it.
It just won't go away,
because it is important to you.
HE can't stop thinking about it either,
because it is important to you.
Oh how our REAL GOD
isn't sitting quiet behind the scenes
WAITING for something to change
as HE is the change
in the moment.
even if things aren't changing.
But it feels like your
REAL LIFE
has come to a standstill
as you are still WAITING
for that something or someone.
And then you do the one thing
that makes WAITING no longer a WAIT
as
PATIENCE overcomes you
as a supernatural
PEACE overcomes you
as a supernatural
HOPE becomes your anchor
because
you can't do what only
GOD can do.
So you raise the
flag of surrender
to the ONE who never changes~
but changes you & changes your
REAL STORY
in the midst of whatever chapter you are living in
because
HIS PEACE does transcend all understanding.
HIS HOPE keeps the WAIT bearable.
HIS JOY is so overwhelming
when you & I
come to a standstill
in the midst of a standstill
with the
ONE who never stands still
because
HE is STILL writing
your REAL STORY & my REAL STORY
and oh how
it is such a beautiful STORY
right now in the
MIDDLE OF WAIT
because
HE is STILL with us
& will always be with us
walking so close to us
as we continue to
walk so close to
A REAL GOD
with
A REAL JESUS
who has taken the sting of
WAITING away
because
HE IS
about right now
this very moment
as HE walks with us &
as we walk with HIM
in every WAITING moment.
And then the supernatural becomes
REAL
so ABUNDANTLY REAL
because
IN JESUS
everything comes to a
STANDSTILL
a glorious
STANDSTILL
as we remain so
STILL IN HIM
that WAITING isn't WAIT anymore
because
HE becomes everything that you have always been
WAITING for.
So you decide to get up~
pressing forward in your current chapter of your story
& become
WAITLESS
because
JESUS is in the WAIT.
Therefore~
"Strip down, start running—and never quit!
No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins.
Keep your eyes on JESUS, who both began and finished this race we’re in.
Study how HE did it. Because HE never lost sight of where HE was headed—
that exhilarating finish in and with GOD—HE could put up with anything along the way:
Cross, shame, whatever.
And now HE'S there, in the place of honor, right alongside GOD.
When you find yourselves flagging in your faith,
go over that story again, item by item,
that long litany of hostility he plowed through.
That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!" (Hebrews 12:2-3)
So WAITING isn't so bad anymore.
REAL LIFE. REAL STORY. REAL GOD.
