I pick at food. I pick myself apart. I pick at my sin.
I focus on how I fall short~
not only of my expectations
but of GOD'S expectations.
I condemn myself,
EVEN THOUGH HE DOESN’T.
I punish myself,
EVEN THOUGH HE DOESN’T.
I get mad at myself
EVEN THOUGH HE DOESN’T.
I pick at my sin, as I tell myself ~
'You should have known better'
AND
'You call yourself a Christian?????'.
Oh the STRIVING PRESSURE
I put upon myself~
EVEN THOUGH HE DOESN’T
because
HE took my sin & your sin.
It is over. It is finished.
"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in CHRIST JESUS" (Romans 8:1)
Even when others condemn me & when I condemn myself.
How dare I condemn HIS Daughter,
as that is who I am,
HIS precious possession.
So precious that HE died for her & for you & for all~
"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in CHRIST JESUS".
I am getting off this roller coaster of
I am good. I am bad.
I am forgiven. I am a sinner.
I am favored. I am worthless.
Who I am listening to & Who are you listening to~
the old or the new creation?
"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in CHRIST JESUS".
YES I will stumble and fall as long as I live in this body here on earth.
YES I have to submit to GOD. YES I have to follow JESUS.
BUT
YES is no longer
a HAVE TO
as it is
A WANT TO
because
JESUS DIDN'T HAVE TO hang on a cross.
HE WANTED TO
so you and I never HAVE TO.
FORGIVEN Forever!
FAVORED Forever!
FREE Forever!
"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in CHRIST JESUS".
Forever FORGIVEN.
Forever FAVORED.
Forever FREE.
Living UNLEASHED from me, myself & I
Because I am LEASHED to HIM
Forever & ever & ever & beyond that.
For forever is forever~
FORGIVEN IN HIM
FAVORED IN HIM
FREE IN HIM.
