I didn't know it was going to happen,
but GOD had to know
because it was orchestrated by HIM
and it was for HIM.
The man stood in my kitchen
after moving furniture back into our home.
As I handed him a tip
he teared up
and was beyond grateful
because
life has been tough for him
as his 48 year mother just passed away.
My heart cried for him and with him
and before you knew it
I handed him my gumby JESUS
who stands on my counter.
My mouth started moving
with words coming out
all about the HOPE of JESUS
as I shared my testimony
and how I am clinging to JESUS
with my all.
In my own sadness
GOD had me share JESUS
to Corey
who was broken and hurting
and had no where to turn.
Oh GOD never wastes our pain.
Oh GOD shows up at the perfect time.
Oh the WEIGHT of his pain was so great.
as it should be.
Oh the WEIGHT of his pain
that left him hopeless.
Oh the WEIGHT of his loss was ever so great
because he lost the one whom he loved so great.
The WEIGHT of pain
that is way too heavy to carry ourselves.
And there in my kitchen
HOPE filled the room
between
me, Corey and gumby JESUS
because
GOD had set up an appointment
for that very minute
unbeknownst
to me,
but oh how GOD was ready
to be the main guest in the room.
I don't remember all I said
because the words that flowed from my heart
where from my
GOD who
planned this
GOD APPOINTMENT.
I do remember telling
Corey that I will be praying for him
and for him to cry out to JESUS
everything he is feeling
&
how he can be ever so real to JESUS
because
JESUS is ever so REAL.
Has the WEIGHT of pain left you hopeless?
Have you cried out to JESUS
who takes the WEIGHT of pain
and wears it like a robe
claiming it for HIMSELF
so we don't have to carry it
alone.
That is my JESUS & your JESUS
because
HE IS EVERYONE'S JESUS
who never tires carrying my stuff
&
your stuff
&
everyone else who cries out to HIM.
Release the WEIGHT of pain to
JESUS
because you were never created to carry it yourself.
Also, do you have a someone
who you can share your heart with, as
we weren't created to be alone.
"So let’s do it—full of belief, confident that we’re presentable inside and out.
Let’s keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going.
HE always keeps HIS word.
Let’s see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out,
not avoiding worshiping together as some do but spurring each other on,
especially as we see the big Day approaching" (Hebrews 10:23-24 The Message)
