The fog rolls in.
You know that the sun is shining brightly,
yet the fog is taking center stage.
The _______ rolls in,.
You know that THE SON is shining brightly,
yet the _________ is taking center stage.
What is your _________?
That person, place or thing that is dimming HIS LIGHT.
It is all consuming. It is all you can think about. It is all that you can see.
We all have a _________ or a _________
that strives to rob the PEACE & the JOY of the LORD.
What if you FASTED from the __________.
FASTING isn't ignoring a person, place, or thing.
It is not allowing the ___________ to consume you,
to take your focus,
to blind you to the ONE who is holding out HIS HANDS and inviting you to
"Come to ME, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest"
(Matthew 11:28).
FASTING is
"...[looking away from all that will distract us and] focusing our eyes on JESUS, who is
the Author and Perfecter of faith" (Hebrews 12:2 AMP).
To FIX OFF in order to FIX ON~
"Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise" (Philippians 4;8).
What if today you practiced FIXING your thoughts on
WHO is
TRUE,
HONORABLE,
RIGHT,
PURE,
LOVELY,
and
ADMIRABLE,
every time your thoughts begin
FIXATING
on____________.
Don't you feel FREE just thinking about it,
as the weight of the ___________
begins to dissipate
as
JESUS moves to first place in your heart.
Because
FASTING takes the HOLD OFF of what is HOLDING onto you,
and then brings you to the
WHO
WHO wants to HOLD onto you~
"Let us seize and HOLD tightly the confession of our hope without wavering, for HE who promised is reliable and trustworthy and faithful [to HIS word]" (Hebrews 10:23).
The time is now.
What is your _______?
I think about how my __________
became such a burden as it
was competing to steal
HIS PEACE from my soul,
because of the great pain that my ________
was causing me.
And I FASTED from it.
And because GOD means what HE says and says what HE means,
HIS PEACE that transcends all understanding
filled the void in my life.
The time is now.
to HOLD FAST to HIS TRUTHS~
"For we know that GOD will use for good all things..." (Romans 8:28)
And HE means ALL THINGS~,
meaning your ________~
as GOD never sleeps on the job.
So HOLD FAST~
"I am coming soon. HOLD FAST what you have, so that no one may seize your crown"
(Revelation 3:11).
For
"Faith is a deliberate commitment to the Person of JESUS CHRIST,
even when I can’t see the way ahead" (Oswald Chambers).
OH JOYFUL JUNE!
