EMPTY~
Depleted.
Void.
Wanting.
Have you ever felt EMPTY
because nothing you tried could FILL the void
that is so deep inside?
Oh I know EMPTY,
but oh I know FULL.
FULL~
OVERFLOWING.
INHABITED.
ABUNDANT.
But only when I am
FULL OF JESUS
because
no one
no thing
no place
can FILL the EMPTY space
in our soul,
because we were created for
CONNECTION.
A
GOD CONNECTION~
to be RE-CONNECTED TO HIM
through
JESUS CHRIST.
And when that CONNECTION is made
you become so
FULL
that you finally stop chasing
people
places
and things
to FILL you.
Oh how GOD reminds me
when I still try to FILL that deep void inside
with
the every ones & the every things.
Oh the pressure I put on myself to BELIEVE that
if I only had this or that then I would be FULL.
But then JESUS always gets my attention
when I
HEAR HIS VOICE~
“I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger,
and whoever believes in me shall never thirst” (John 6:35).
Because
"HE satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul HE fills with good things" (Psalm: 107:9).
Oh HIS FULFILLING PROMISE~
"In YOUR presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore"
(Psalm 16:11).
So once again as I was feeling
EMPTY,
there was GOD gently taping my shoulder
to
take my eyes off of the
EMPTINESS and to put them on HIM
who FILLS me~
"Finally, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—
think about such things" (Philippians 4:8).
And oh how now I am
STUFFED
because
I asked GOD to
"FILL MY CUP"
