I WANT what I WANT when I WANT it.
ENTITLEMENT SPEAKS.
Hmm.
And you know what,
at times I do act
ENTITLED.
I do WANT what I WANT.
I WANT everyone to LOVE JESUS.
I do WANT what I WANT.
I WANT HIS PEACE to fill the world.
I do WANT what I WANT.
I WANT what GOD WANTS.
Isn’t it all GOOD
that I WANT what GOD WANTS?
Aren’t I ENTITLED for GOD to give me what HE WANTS also?
But when I don’t get what
GOD WANTS
when I WANT it
then I get
DISCOURAGED
HOPELESS
HELPLESS
because
why won’t GOD give me what I WANT if it is what HE WANTS.
I am missing the point, as I am still making it about me.
Oh selfish me.
As I step back and look in the mirror
and look at my
ENTITLED self,
but
I see GOD looking right back at me
who has
ENTITLED me
when I least deserved it
as HE invited me
to step into HIS PRESENCE
to RECEIVE HIS SON
who covers me
with HIS ROBE
that makes me a member
of HIS KINGDOM
because of
GRACE:
UN~ENTITLED ENTITLEMENT!
GRACE~
GOD'S
"NOT WANTING
anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9)
GOD WANTS what HE WANTS.
GOD has always WANTED you.
GOD WANTS everyone,
even though every one of us are so
UN~ENTITLED
in our fallen state
to get what we don't deserve,
but HE gives it to us anyway
because
GOD WANTS no one to perish.,
ENTITLED BY GRACE.
ENTITLED~
PRIVILEGED.
ACCEPTED.
PERMITTED.
So are we all ENTITLED to being HIS?
Oh YES.
All ENTITLED to the same CHOICE~
"For everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved" (Romans 10:13)
Do we deserve this PRIVILEGE?
Oh not at all
because that is why it is called
GRACE~
A Gift Given. A Gift To Be Received.
I can still
WANT what I WANT when I WANT what GOD WANTS
and
continue
to RUN THE RACE
still ASKING GOD to save the lost
still ASKING GOD to bless others
still ASKING GOD to heal others
still ASKING GOD for what HE tells me to ask HIM for,
for HE delights in having a
RELATIONSHIP with all HIS kids
which ENTITLES us to a
RELATIONSHIP with HIM
IN JESUS CHRIST,
just because that is who GOD is.
Oh SUBMISSIVE ENTITLEMENT
takes the stance of HUMILITY
as we enter in GOD'S PRESENCE
wearing HIS LABEL
that we don't deserve,
but by GRACE.
The me & the you who HE has made
ENTITLED~
PRIVILEGED
ACCEPTED
PERMITTED to enter into HIS PRESENCE.
IN HIM I have all that I ever WANTED.
I can continue to WANT JESUS for everyone
&
I can continue to WANT what GOD WANTS
as I continue to
RUN THE RACE with
JESUS who I made the CHOICE to say YES to,
because that is what GOD has always
WANTED for me.
