HE CAME
just like GOD said HE would COME~
"You will find a BABY wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger” (Luke 2:12).
What more does GOD have to do to
express HIS undying LOVE for ALL mankind.
HE CAME
just like GOD said HE would COME~
"Therefore the LORD HIMSELF will give you a sign.
Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a SON, and shall call HIS name IMMANUEL"
(Isaiah 9:6).
HE CAME just like GOD said HE would COME~
"For to us a CHILD is born,
to us a SON is given,
and the government will be on HIS shoulders.
And HE will be called
WONDERFUL COUNSELOR,
MIGHTY GOD,
EVERLASTING FATHER,
PRINCE OF PEACE
Of the greatness of HIS government and peace
there will be no end.
HE will reign on David’s throne
and over HIS kingdom,
establishing and upholding it
with justice and righteousness
from that time on and forever.
The ZEAL of the LORD ALMIGHTY
will accomplish this" (Isaiah 9:6-7).
Oh how I have just skimmed through those WORDS
because I know the story.
But this morning I am reading them as if it is
for the first time.
They make me cry.
Oh how easy it is to water down GOD'S WORDS
because we have read
the same verse over and over again.
Oh how when you go beyond "just" reading
GOD'S WORDS
and instead open your HEART to RECEIVE them
as if you are eating the best meal ever
that you never want to end.
Oh to be ZEALOUS for GOD'S WORD and for HIS SON
because the LORD IS ZEALOUS for All~
"THE ZEAL OF THE LORD ALMIGHTY
WILL ACCOMPLISH THIS".
ZEAL~
"excessive fervor to do something or accomplish some end" (Logos).
Oh our ZEALOUS GOD who always delivers on HIS PROMISES~
“For GOD so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that HE [even] gave HIS [ONE and] only begotten SON, so that whoever believes and trusts in HIM [as SAVIOR] shall not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16 AMP).
JESUS CAME
just like GOD SAID HE would COME
and all JESUS asks is for ALL TO COME~
“I am THE WAY and THE TRUTH and THE LIFE.
No one COMES to the FATHER except through ME" (John 14:6).
As we will be entering into a
NEW YEAR,
what if we
ALL COME
with a ZEAL for
THE BABY who CAME to the manger
who grew up to be
THE MAN who
CAME to the CROSS
to
RISE from the GRAVE.
"For to us a CHILD IS BORN!"
For to you a CHILD IS BORN
who CAME and
asks us to LOVE with ZEAL~
"You shall LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD with
ALL YOUR HEART,
& with
ALL YOUR SOUL
& with,
ALL YOUR MIND" (Matthew 22:37).
Don't hold back
because
GOD hasn't held back on you.
"For to us a CHILD is born"
and there is
"NO TURNING BACK"
