Day 28: Just Come

I never realized that most of my life

I was SEARCHING, 

because there was something missing,

I never felt whole.

I never felt like I belonged.

I never felt like I had a place

whene I could be just me,

without being judged

for being me,

Messy me.

The real me.

The imperfect me.

In my SEARCHING I was actually striving to

create a

a newer,

a better version of Joni.

So what was I really SEARCHING for?

To be LOVED.

 But little did I know that there was SOMEONE SEARCHING for me,

while I was actually SEARCHING

for what HE had for me.

HE waited.

And waited.

And waited.

And then I LOOKED up.

And then it happened,

There was the LOVE,

that I had been SEARCHING for in all the wrong places,

standing right before me.

JESUS.

Precious JESUS.

Just waiting to have a RELATIONSHIP

with little ole me.

HE didn't come with a list of dos and don'ts,

but with an INVITATION for me to

COME to HIM.

So simple.

So easy.

To just

COME TO JESUS. 

And it only took a SECOND

that become a LIFE CHANGING SECOND.

Have you COME in the past,

 yet you need a REVIVAL in your heart?

Have you never thought about COMING? 

What if GOD stopped the world for ONE SECOND

and then gave JESUS center stage

to INVITE ALL TO COME,

and

EVERYONE CAME!

So simple.

So easy.

And it only takes a SECOND.

Will you COME for the first time?

Will you COME for a RENEWAL?

For JESUS CAME FOR ONE AND FOR ALL!

TICK. TICK. TICK.

 “Come to ME

 all who are weary and heavily burdened [by religious rituals that provide no peace],

and I will give you rest [refreshing your souls with salvation].

Take MY yoke upon you and learn from ME [following ME as MY disciple],

for I am gentle and humble in heart,

and you will find rest (renewal, blessed quiet) for your souls.

 For MY yoke is easy [to bear] and MY burden is light.”

(Matthew 11: 28-30).

The SEARCH is over.

Just say it,

"GIVE ME JESUS"
