Today we will close the
DOOR on FEBRUARY.
The shortest month.
The month that gets the bum wrap,
The month that will never see the 30th or the 31rst day,
for
"30 Days has September,
April, June & November.
All the rest have thirty-one,
except February alone,
which has twenty-eight rain or shine,
except for leap year, 29".
What if you were FEBRUARY?
Would you feel inferior?
Would the other months laugh at you,
because you appear like you don't belong?
Would you be CONFUSED?
Well, LEAP YEAR began when Julius Casear
wanted to FIX the cultures calendar in 46 B.C,
so that now there would be 445 years instead of 365,
that added a leap day every fourth year.
Hmm.
Therefore, it was called
THE YEAR OF CONFUSION.
So as I am trying to understand everything about
LEAP YEAR,
I am getting more
CONFUSED,
which is making me
LEAP
in another direction,
that is
DISTRACTING me from
my morning time with GOD.
Hmm.
CONFUSION.
DISTRACTION.
CHAOS.
But GOD is drawing me back.
Where is GOD
when we are missing the
29th day of FEBRUARY?
HE IS STILL HERE.
So will you join me
on this last day of the shortest month
and
take a
LEAP OF FAITH
by making this the best last day of FEBRUARY
AND
"Delight yourself in the LORD and HE will give you the desires of your heart"
(Psalm 37:4),
AND
“Do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself.
Sufficient for the day is its own trouble" (Matthew 6: 34),
AND
"Do all things through HIM who strengthens you" (Philippians 4:13)
AND
"Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—
put it into practice...".*
so that when you do,
"...the GOD of peace will be with you" (Philippians 4:8-9).
For the WORLD will continue to rotate and revolve,
changing the months and the seasons,
but our GOD will always stay the same,
even on the shortest month.
Therefore,
be like a
FROG
and
Fully Rely On God~`
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge HIM, And HE will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6).
And never stop,
no matter the month or the hour.
