Day 27: Your Desires

Since I have been

LIVING UNMASKED~BEING REAL WITH JESUS

my life has changed.

Nothing around me,

but my life WITHIN.

I have PUT OFF so much unnecessary baggage

so that GOD could PUT ON my new clothes

a HE clothes me with

a PEACE that this high strung Italian woman could never produce on her own.

HE has clothed me with a FORGIVENESS that has erased the angry child within me.

HE clothes me with my REAL SELF

who HE has created me to be,

because under all the stuff that

I need to PUT OFF

is a heart~

a GOD shaped heart

where JESUS comes into

and fills every empty hole

with HIMSELF

so that I am able to live as myself

who is using my heartfelt desires which

GOD has put in me

just as HE said HE would~

"Delight yourself in the LORD, And HE will give you the desires and petitions of your heart" (Psalm 37:4) because

"The one who truly delights in the LORD will find his heart and desires changed, steadily aligning with GOD'S own good desires for his life.

Thus we see that finding delight in GOD is a key to a happy, satisfied life" (Guzik).

HIS DESIRES become my DESIRES. Oh GOD is true to HIS WORD.

I am loving living out all what HE calls me to do.

I find JOY in the simple

I even find JOY in unloading the dishwasher.

I love quiet & stillness

Why don't we listen to GOD's voice

and do what HE says

because

HE only wants what is best for us.

HE says,

"Do not be anxious" (Philippians 4)

Why?

So that we receive the peace transcends all understanding.

HE says,

"Get rid of all bitterness, anger & rage" (Ephesians 4)

Why?

So that forgiveness sets us free.

HE says,

"Be still & know" (Psalm 46)

Why?

So that we will be still & know that

GOD's desires are greater than any of our desires.

So what is GOD DESIRE for you right now?
