Day 27: Hurt No More

IT happened again.

I didn't see it coming.

IT came right at my heart.

And IT hurt.

But IT not only hurt me,

but IT hurt GOD.

For when

GOD'S children get hurt, GOD hurts.

And GOD knows hurt first hand

because

HIS SON felt HURT like no other.

JESUS was

DESPISED

REJECTED

SUFFERED

OPPRESSED

AFFLICTED CRUSHED

NAILED

(Isaiah 53).

Let that sink in.

Now just because HE was JESUS,

doesn't mean

JESUS didn't HURT.

JESUS was made man,

to walk this earth

like every other human whom was created.

Therefore,

JESUS HURT.

BUT no one

deserves to

DIE like JESUS did.

Well others did deserve to

DIE

like JESUS did,

but JESUS was NOT GUILTY

or was HE?

"CHRIST never sinned but GOD put our sin on HIM.

Then we are made right with GOD because of what

CHRIST has done for us"

(2 Corinthians 5:21).

JESUS carried all our SINS.

And SIN has to be killed.

For it was GOD'S WILL for JESUS~

"Yet it was the LORD'S will to crush HIM and cause HIM to suffer" (Isaiah 53:10).

Yikes,

GOD'S WILL WILL BE DONE.

GOD OPENED

the DOOR for

JESUS to DIE

because

it is

GOD'S WILL

"that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"

(2 Peter 3:9).

Oh the sweet spot of

REPENTANCE.

To walk through the

OPEN DOOR of GRACE

because JESUS walked

from the cradle to the CROSS.

The GIFT OF GRACE

that

JESUS did not RECEIVE

so that everyone else could.

JESUS HURT.

I am getting all Christian-ese this morning,

because when I feel my hurt

and then look at the CROSS,

where the ultimate HURT HAPPENED,

I then take my HURT

and walk up to my JESUS

and lay it down at HIS feet.

JESUS HURT FIRST

because

JESUS LOVED FIRST.

Oh how my HURT pales to the

HURT JESUS

had to bear,

because

JESUS takes my HURT

and JESUS takes your HURT

and

not only HURTS with you,

but does

what no on other human being

or no other thing

can ever do

"JESUS LOVES YOU"

(listen to the song below)
