Day 26: Remembered forever

Yesterday we REMEMBERED our uncle at his "Celebration of Life"

As a musician, the piano was played with his .favorite songs.

As a sailor, the stories of his adventures with his family was shared.

As a father, his children shared their hearts.

As a husband, his wife of 67 years relished in the memories.

As a grandfather, his grandchildren shared in the readings.

As a Christian, we know where he is forever celebrating his life right

forever & ever

with JESUS.

Jim was celebrated. Jim was remembered. Jim will be remembered always in our hearts.

To be REMEMBERED~

To be Known

To be Recognized

To Never Forget.

What does it mean to you to be REMEMBERED?

As we are staying at a hotel where we have stayed before,

I was REMEMBERED

when I was greeted with a heartfelt big hello, a welcome back and my name

in the wee early morning hours as I was going for a run.

To be REMEMBERED

made me REMEMBER

that I am & you are

KNOWN~

"for HE knitted you together in your mother's womb" (Psalm 139)

REGOGNIZED~

"Praise be to GOD, who has not rejected my prayer, or withheld HIS love from me!" (Psalm 66:20)

NEVER FORGOTTEN~

"... rejoice that your names are written in heaven." (Luke 10:20).

Because on that day when life ceases here

and

"if you confess with your mouth, "JESUS is LORD," and believe in your heart that GOD raised HIM from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9)

HE will KNOW that you & I KNOW HIS SON

HE will RECOGNIZE you & I as HIS HEIRS

&

HE will welcome us into HIS PRESENCE

because

HE will NEVER FORGET you~

"you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our

LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST" (2 Peter 1:11)

What does it mean to you to be REMEMBERED?

As I finished up my run, I was greeted by another with the words

"Welcome back. So good to see you again 'Mrs. Rosenbloom'!"

I had to chuckle as I was brought back to earth,

as I was reminded again that I am

REMEMBERED FOREVER

because

"HE KNOWS MY NAME" (listen to the song below)
