Day 26: From The Cradle To The Cross

EASTER WEEK.

When JESUS arrives on a donkey,

to walk to the CROSS. 

But it all began the moment JESUS let out HIS first cry

when HE met Mary and Joseph.

And then it happened.

FROM THE CRADLE TO THE CROSS.

THE CROSS

that was HIS DESTINY

 from the moment HE was born,

for that is why HE was born.

For GOD made a PROMISE in the

 GARDEN

and

GOD ALWAYS KEEPS HIS PROMISES.

For HE

took out

 HIS knife

and stands before the tree,

THE APPLE TREE.

And starts whittling.

HE starts at the base and works HIS way up,

as HE is removing everything that does not belong.

HE is removing EVERYTHING.

From the bark, to the leaves,

to get to the CORE~

THE HEART of the TREE.

And there it stood,

What once was a TREE is now a CROSS,

that GOD had whittled to lay HIS SON.

IT IS FINISHED!

Oh the

CREATOR

then looks at HIS CREATIONS

with tears in HIS eyes

because

of HIS CREATIONS

who ate from the TREE that HE told them not to,

and now this had to happen.

The TREE had to come down,

so the CROSS could go up.

HIS SON had to COME DOWN

from HIS HEAVENLY HOME,

so that EVERYONE could go

 UP

to their HEAVENLY HOME

from where they came from the

very BEGINNING.

And who are the

EVERYONE?

You, and me, and everyone else.

All who GOD called into existence.

And then the time came.

HIS SON laid on the CROSS.

The hammer rose.

The nails where hammered.

The CROSS stood like a TREE,

and then the words where cried out,

IT IS FINISHED.

HIS work completed.

THE CROSS and the TREE.

THE CROSS is where JESUS became LESS, 

so HE could become your MORE,

because

THE CROSS is where you become LESS, 

as you surrender all that is weighing you down

to make room for HIS MORE.

THE CROSS is a dead TREE

that hung the ONE who died

to give us LIFE,

THE ABUNDANT LIFE

in the here and now on your way to FOREVER.

THE CROSS is where you die in order to LIVE.

For this is GOD'S WILL for your LIFE,

because you are GOD'S WILL. 

Born on Purpose and Die on Purpose

IN CHRIST. 

It started on a TREE.

It ended on a TREE.

So that we live FOREVER~

"For GOD so loved the world that HE sent HIS ONE & ONLY SON, that whoever BELIEVES IN HIM shall never PERISH

and have ETERNAL LIFE" (John 3:16).

All because

 JESUS took the walk from

 THE CRADLE TO

"THE WONDERFUL CROSS"
