Day 25: Get Up

Have you ever felt so LOW,

because of

what is happening

 or

because of

what is not happening in your life,

that you just can't get UP?

You wonder how it is even possible

to GET UP,

but you know that you can't stay where you are.  

GET UP anyway!

Make a JOYFUL noise.

A noise that makes your whole body

become alive,

when your whole body

feels lifeless.

But what if you don't FEEL like making a

JOYFUL noise,

until you FEEL JOY?

Do it anyway,

because

JOY is tucked deep down inside you

just waiting to come out,

and you hold the key to release it.

Oh how I have to get out of the way

when I am sitting on the woe is me chair.

When I allow

SORROW

to get the best of me,

I begin to act as if

JOY is a foreign country

instead of my true home.

Time is now.

GET UP!

"So come on, my soul, oh, don't you get shy on me.

Lift up your song.'Cause you've got a lion inside of those lungs.

GET UP and praise the LORD".*

Oh GET UP!

Such powerful words.

GET UP,

because it is the only direction to go when you have fallen so low.

GET UP,

just as the Psalmist did

when he spoke to HIS own downcast soul~

"Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become restless and disturbed within me?HOPE in GOD and wait expectantly for HIM,

for I shall again praise HIM, for the help of HIS presence"

 (Psalm 42:11).

Hmm.

The cries of an HONEST HEART

to the ONE who HEARS every CRY..

Have you poured out your HEART to the ONE

who hears your HEART?

Today is the day to

GET UP!

Is there a something or a someone that is keeping you DOWN?

Have you told GOD about it?

GET UP!

Oh, I remember so clearly the times that

 DESPAIR

strived to GET me DOWN~

and sometimes it did..

But then, through the still, small whisper,

I heard

GOD

calling me

to

GET UP!

And when

GET UP

became my response,

JOY

began to overtake

DESPAIR~

"I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. 

Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD"

(Psalm 27:13-14).

We have a

GOOD GOD

who has wrapped

HOPE

&

JOY

all

SWADDLED

 in

JESUS,

so that

JESUS can SWADDLE us

with

HIS HOPE

&

HIS JOY!

Ready. Get set. Go.

GET UP!

 "I throw up my hands and praise YOU again and again.

'Cause all that I have is a Hallelujah, hallelujah.

And I know it's not much, but I've nothing else fit for a KING,

except for a heart singing Hallelujah, hallelujah" *

Oh JOYFUL JUNE!

is so easy,

and all you have to do is

just

GET UP

in
