Day 24: Last Beginning Day

Happy last day of October.

Happy last day of daylight savings time.

Happy last day of that something

that keeps striving to steal

the

JOY

PEACE

HOPE

LOVE

that is yours & mine & everyone else's.

Because

REALITY is that

JOY

PEACE

HOPE

LOVE

is

your & mines & everyone else's

who

have embraced

JESUS CHRIST

as our SAVIOR

because

"nothing can ever separate us from GOD'S love" (Romans 8:38)

NOTHING~

"Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,

neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow

~ not even the powers of hell can separate us from GOD'S love.

No power in the sky above or in the earth below~

indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the

love of GOD that is revealed in CHRIST our LORD" (Romans 8:38-39).

Therefore

if this is our

REALITY

let's journey together

through the

26 Days of November to THANKSGIVING

by

LIVING IN~GRATITUDE~

but begin today

by

THANKING GOD

for something or for someone

that you really don't want to be thankful for.

Hmm...

now that sounds a wee bit harsh,

but let me explain.

Is it

A circumstance that is out of your control?

A path that you don't want to walk?

The image you see in the mirror?

Is it

An unresolved conflict?

A misunderstanding?

A breach of trust?

Whatever

"IT" is

place it in the blank.~

THANK YOU GOD for __________,

because I know that YOU love me.

Short and simple,

yet so hard to do at times

when "THANK YOU" is the last thing you want to say.

But we aren't rejoicing over the

"IT"

that may be causing us to live ingratitude

when we can be

LIVING IN-GRATITUDE~

rejoicing over who

GOD IS

in the midst of the

"IT"

just as Paul who penned these words while he was in prison did~

“Sing and make music in your heart to the LORD, always giving

THANKS to GOD THE FATHER for everything,

in the name of our LORD JESUS CHRIST” (Ephesians 5:19-20)

Today may be the last day of October

but oh it is just the beginning

because

IN JESUS

we are always

LIVING

IN

"GRATITUDE" (listen to the song below)
