Day 24: Fearless Faith

If

 I BELIEVE in GOD

and if

I BELIEVE in JESUS

and if

 I BELIEVE

I have the HOLY SPIRIT in me,

then what is my problem

when I live as if

I don't BELIEVE~

when I choose

ANXIETY over PEACE,

DESPAIR over HOPE,

&

FEAR over FAITH.

To live in UN-BELIEF is a CHOICE.

To BELIEVE is a CHOICE.

To BELIEVE JESUS

when HE says,

“Don’t be afraid; just BELIEVE” (Mark 5:36 NIV).

So are we to BELIEVE first so that then we won't be AFRAID,

or are we to not be AFRAID and then BELIEVE?

Think about it.

If you put a clean shirt over a dirty shirt,

are you really clean

or

do you have to remove the dirty shirt first and the put on the clean shirt?

Think about it.

Can you BELIEVE while still wearing the dirty shirt?

YES,

but you know that you still are wearing the dirty shirt.

The real question is whether you really want to get rid of the dirty shirt,

because you FEAR that you can live without it

and don't

BELIEVE

that FAITH is enough to ride you of FEAR.

What is your dirty shirt that you just can't take off

because you just can't imagine your life without it,

because you have been wearing it too long?

Is it a habit.

Is it a hurt.

Is it a person.

"Don't be afraid; just BELIEVE".

TAKE IT OFF.

Get REAL with JESUS.

Ask HIM for MORE FAITH.

“I do have faith! Please help me to have even more” (Mark 9:24, CEV)

Yup,

MORE FAITH to BELIEVE HIM.

Are you AFRAID to ask JESUS for more FAITH to BELIEVE HIM?

Now think about that.

But even

The apostles said to the LORD, 'Increase our faith!" (Luke 17:5 NIV).

So maybe just maybe

FEAR is the way to have MORE FAITH TO BELIEVE.

TO BELIEVE is a CHOICE.

To NOT BELIEVE is also a CHOICE.

Oh the sweet spot of

 FAITH

is when you are in the middle of a storm that won't let up,

but you BELIEVE JESUS when HE speaks to your heart and says,

“Don’t be afraid; just BELIEVE” (Mark 5:36).

I am taking off my dirty shirt.

"GIVE ME FAITH"

(listen to the song below)
