Day 23: Silent God

I am on a rabbit chase today,

as I am trying to

FIND GOD

in a BIGGER WAY.

I want a MOUNTAINTOP EXPERIENCE.

I want to SEE HIM in the SMALL THINGS.

I want to SEE HIM in the BIG THINGS.

I want to SEE HIM in ALL THINGS.

I am actually

 trying too hard to SEE HIM,

when HE is

RIGHT HERE

RIGHT NOW

in ALL THINGS,

especially in

THE SOUND OF SILENCE

that is deafening right now.

It is in

THE SOUND OF SILENCE

when FAITH becomes your ears.

I have a CHOICE right now in this

SILENT SPACE.

to keep

TRYING TO FIND GOD

in a BIG WAY,

or to

just BE in THE SILENCE.

To BE STILL in the STILLNESS.

To TRUST in the STILLNESS.

To BELIEVE in the STILLNESS.

To become like a CHILD and just

BE IN THE MOMENT.

To be ever so PRESENT RIGHT NOW.

To empty my SEEKING MIND

that is TRYING to leave THIS SILENT MOMENT

because

I WANT GOD to

SHOW HIMSELF.

Hmm.

Sounds like I am challenging GOD

or am I

SEEKING HIM

because I want to

EXPERIENCE MORE OF HIM

so that I don't miss HIM

in a sunrise and a sunset

or

in a palm tree

or

in a bird

or

in a friend

in

or

THE SOUND OF SILENCE.

SILENCE at times stirs up the FEAR in me

when I start to BELIEVE that GOD has left me behind.

Such a silly thing to think because I know HE hasn't,

but at times it feels like HE has

when all I hear is

SILENCE.

BUT FAITH HEARS GOD IN THE SILENCE.

For why would

 I SEEK SOMEONE

who I don't BELIEVE IS HERE?

Wow.

THE SILENCE OF GOD.

HE IS IN THE WHISPER~

"God said, 'Go out and stand in front of the LORD on the mountain.'

 As the LORD was passing by, a fierce wind tore mountains and shattered rocks ahead of the LORD.

 But the LORD was not in the wind.

After the wind came an earthquake

. But the LORD wasn't in the earthquake.

After the earthquake there was a fire.

 But the LORD wasn't in the fire.

And after the fire there was a quiet, whispering voice.

When Elijah heard it..."

(I Kings 19:11-13).

Shh.

Quiet your soul

and listen.

GOD is in

THE WHISPER

of the SILENCE of the morning

GOD IS HERE

because

HE NEVER LEFT.

GOD got my attention in my

SEEKING to

find HIM in a mountaintop experience,

when

 HE IS IN THE SILENCE,

which is a

MOUNTAINTOP EXPERIENCE

because it is where

HE found me

right where HE wanted me to be.

Shh.

Quiet your soul

and listen.

Thank YOU GOD for

THE SOUND OF SILENCE
