I am in a place that is not my home,
but in a place that feels like home
because GOD is here
and HE is my FAMILIAR~
for GOD never CHANGES.
For wherever you go
GOD IS GOD.
GOD is the PEACE in the midst of ANXIETY.
GOD is the LOVE in the midst of REJECTION.
GOD is the HOPE in the midst of HOPELESSNESS.
GOD is the JOY in the midst of DESPAIR.
GOD IS ALWAYS GOD
because
GOD only knows how to be
HIMSELF
and that my friend is
THE TRUTH that keeps your feet firmly
planted in the same place,
even if you are in a different place.
For GOD never CHANGES
even if things in your LIFE are CHANGING.
Because~
"GOD is FAITHFUL
[HE is reliable, trustworthy and ever true to HIS promise—HE can be depended on]"*
For when GOD makes a PROMISE HE never breaks HIS PROMISE
and all HE asks is to
BELIEVE HIM
and
LIVE the LIFE you were called to LIVE~
"...and through HIM you were called into fellowship with HIS SON, JESUS CHRIST our LORD"*
(I Corinthian 1:9)
It isn't rocket science,
for GOD doesn't have to prove HIMSELF
before you BELIEVE HIM,
as I know this first hand.
I wanted GOD TO PROVE
that HE LOVED ME
and that HE would never leave me,
even though HE KNOWS me so well.
Oh how GOD PROVED me wrong.
No matter what I said to HIM
HE never pushed me away,
when instead HE came closer to me,
as HE is so TRUE to HIS WORD~
"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your GOD; I will strengthen you,
I will help you, I will uphold you with MY righteous right hand"
(Isaiah 41:10).
And oh when GOD gets you
in the place of GRACE
there is no leaving it,
as HE leads you to HIS SON
who grabs you with an EVERLASTING LOVE
that is so overwhelming
that you just have to fall on your knees
and look up
to
HIM
and say
"WHY ME".
And there HE IS
answering you in HIS soft whisper,
"WHY NOT YOU".
Oh to remember
the SECOND
when
GOD becomes your GOD
and JESUS becomes your SAVIOR,
there is no turning back.
The tears are coming as I still feel my holding back
on RECEIVING HIM fully
in this very SECOND,
as I sit in the unfamiliar
that is becoming
so FAMILIAR,
because it is
GOD & I
just doing what we do best~
just hanging out and talking
as HE draws me closer & closer
into HIMSELF
reminding me that
HE IS ALWAYS GOD .
MY GOD & YOUR GOD
&
EVERYONE'S GOD
who breathes
LIFE into every SECOND
that almost makes you lose your BREATH,
no matter where you are
&
no matter what you are feeling.
Are you living in
THE UNFAMILIAR,
because something has changed in your life~
whether your health
whether your finances
whether your relationships
whether your feelings
whether your ___________?
Do you crave the FAMILIAR
when the UNFAMILIAR
becomes your REALITY,
even though you know LIFE is ever CHANGING?
But what if the UNFAMILIAR
becomes the best space & place
to LIVE IN
because it is where you
meet
GOD face to face ,
and that my friend makes
your every CHANGING SECONDS
the best SECONDS
because
GOD IS ALWAYS GOD
NEVER CHANGING
who
meets you right where you are
no matter what your UNFAMILIAR is
because
HE IS ALWAYS
