Day 22: Humbled

The older I get

the less I KNOW

as GOD reminds me so

as HE continually shakes things up

doing things in HIS WAY

which is not the WAY I would do things.

Oh how HE humbles me

when I try to

figure out what HE is doing

when all HE wants

me to do

&

you to do

is to

"Humble yourselves

[with an attitude of repentance and insignificance]

in the presence of the LORD,

and HE will exalt you

[HE will lift you up, HE will give you purpose]" (James 4:10).

To be HUMBLE is really HUMBLING

especially

when GOD is HUMBLING you~

“Who do you think you are to disagree with my plans?

You do not know what you are talking about.

Get ready to stand up for yourself.

I will ask you some questions.

Then I want you to answer me" (Job 38:1-3)

Yikes!

The WORDS GOD spoke to good 'ole Job

whose circumstances were not the best

as he was at the end of his rope.

And you wonder,

If GOD is GOOD why would HE allow what HE did in Job's life.

Is that why so many are so FEARFUL of GOD

as HE appears to be allowing the not-so-good

to enter into so many lives.

Oh if we knew the mind of GOD

we would be on our knees

every second

thanking HIM that we can even talk to HIM

as who deserves

the

GRACE

to be covered by

HIS SON.

Well we know how JOB'S story ends~

"The LORD blessed the last part of Job’s life even more than the first part" (Job 42:12)

because

GOD WILL WORK FOR GOOD ALL THINGS FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM

for

HIS ways are not our WAYS~

"The LORD is not slow in keeping HIS promise, as some understand slowness. Instead HE is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish,

but everyone to come to repentance"

(2 Peter 3:9).

I love how GOD stops me in my tracks

when I am traveling down the

woe is me path

when all HE wants

is for me & for you

to

take the stance of

HUMILITY

just like HIS SON did~

“FATHER, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done"

(Luke 22:42).

So who am I

& who are you

to even think that we deserve anything more than

we have right now in the moment

when GOD has given HIS ALL

for everyone

and all we have to do is

"Humble yourselves

[with an attitude of repentance and insignificance]

in the presence of the LORD,

and HE will exalt you

[HE will lift you up, HE will give you purpose]" (James 4:10).

For when we get to the end of ourselves

we find our real selves~

"I found my life, when I laid it down

Upward falling. Spirit soaring

I TOUCH THE SKY

When my knees hit the ground"

(from "TOUCH THE SKY" listen below)
