Day 22: Healing Tears

We live in a HURTING world,

because we are living human beings

with HEARTS

that beat, beat, and beat,

breathing life into us

that FEELS.

And with FEELINGS comes HURT.

The saying HURT PEOPLE HURT PEOPLE

is so true,

as isn't a HURTING person

looking for comfort,

looking for someone to

take the HURT away

so that they don't HURT anymore?

But what if you felt the HURT

that is tucked deep into your beating

 HEART,

instead of burying

the HURT in hope

that it will go away

so that you don't have to FEEL?

You can't ignore your HEART.

Do you have a HEART HURT?

Oh I do, because I am a FEELING human being.

The tears are forming as I write.

I see tears as HEALING TEARS,

as I release them to

the ONE who knows TEARS,

as JESUS cried TEARS of blood

in HIS great anguish.

And if JESUS CRIED,

why would we ever think that we are exempt

from TEARS.

HEALING TEARS

become

HAPPY TEARS,

as they set you

FREE.

HURT HURTS but JESUS HEALS.

HURT is overwhelming the world,

but so is GOD'S FAITHFULNESS.

GOD never leaves HURT alone, for HE joins you right where you are,

HE was always there when I was HURTING,

catching my TEARS as they flowed,

and HE is always there to catch new TEARS.

For GOD is our

HOPE for THE HURTING HEART,

because

we never HURT ALONE

because

GOD PROMISES THAT~

I WILL STAND BY YOU

(2 Timothy 4:17).

I WILL HELP YOU THROUGH

(Isaiah 41:3)

WHEN YOU'VE DONE ALL YOUR CAN DO

& YOU CAN'T COPE

(Matthew 11:28).

I WILL DRY YOUR EYES

(Revelation 21:4).

I WILL FIGHT YOUR FIGHT.

 (Exodus 14:14)*

Because our GOD

is always

WORKING FOR THE GOOD FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM.

So

when you are

HURTING,

HIS GOOD

is that

HE PROMISES

HE WILL HOLD YOU TIGHT
