CONFUSION & DISTRACTION
washes over me as I have been sitting here for hours with GOD,
yet my mind is all over the place~
going nowhere.
CONFUSION & DISTRACTION
striving to drown out
GOD'S VOICE
in the stillness of this quiet morning
as it is now birthing
FRUSTRATION
because my morning is not going
the way I want it to~
To be greeted by the
STILLNESS OF GOD
because GOD is the ONE who I am choosing to meet with.
The funny thing is that I am not
CONFUSED or DISTRACTED
by anything or any thought or anyone right now
because
THE PEACE THAT TRANSCENDS ALL UNDERSTANDING
fills my whole being.
Hmm..
Oh now it is becoming so clear as I think about
Eve
living the life in PEACEFUL perfect paradise
and then
CONFUSION & DISTRACTION
enter in without her even looking for it~
battling for her
PEACE
the moment the words
"Did GOD really say..." (Genesis 3:1)
came to
CONFUSE & DISTRACT
her to the point of her believing & receiving
the
CONFUSION & DISTRACTION
of
DOUBT
that showed up in an innocent piece of fruit.
It only took a second to take a bite of
CONFUSION & DISTRACTION
to take away
THE PEACE OF GOD
that was also in the garden.
Wow.
As we have the
PERFECT PEACE that lives inside of us,
yet it takes one second to
invite in
CONFUSION & DISTRACTION
with one little bite of doubt
as we question~
"Did GOD really say..."
Oh the battle is real
as I didn't come to my early meeting with
GOD
with
CONFUSION & DISTRACTION,
yet it still strives to steal away
HIS PERFECT PEACE that now washes over me.
Oh how today will be different
as my awareness has peeked
to the power of
CONFUSION & DISTRACTION
that shows up when you least expect it,
that strives to take over your mind, body & soul~
yet never wins the battle
because
we know the destiny of the crafty one who loves to plant
CONFUSION & DISTRACTION
in our moments with the words of
doubt~
"Did GOD really say"
because we
know that what
GOD DOES SAY
is HIS WORD
&
nothing trumps TRUTH~
"For all the promises of GOD find their Yes in HIM" (2 Corinthians 1:20)
Oh 2020 here we come
because
JESUS IS MORE THAN A RESOLUTION~
HE IS
