There is something inside of me
that keeps
STIRRING
that is so real
that won't leave me alone.
When I want to go left
there is a STIRRING inside of me
telling me to go right~
"Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying,
'This is the way; walk in it'" (Isaiah 30:21)
When I want to say something
I am STIRRED to say nothing at all~
"Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths,
but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs,
that it may benefit those who listen" (Ephesians 4:29).
When I want to do what I want to do when I want to do it
I am STIRRED to do the opposite~
"Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me~
put it into practice. And the GOD of peace will be with you" (Philippians 4:9).
When all is dark and I have lost my way
I am STIRRED to look upon the Light~
"YOUR word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path" (Psalm 119:105)
This STIRRING in my heart
is always
reminding me that
there is always a better way than my way
because
JESUS IS SO REAL
that
HE LIVES
inside of me & inside of you~
"But the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—
Counselor, Strengthener, Standby),
the Holy Spirit,
whom the FATHER will send in
MY name [in MY place, to represent ME and act on MY behalf],
HE will teach you all things.
And HE will help you remember everything that I have told you" (John 14:26).
JESUS
is not a figment of my imagination
because
when I am connected
to this inner STIRRING
I am filled beyond my wildest dreams
with what is better than any STIRRED that wants to lead me astray~
"But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives:~
love, joy, peace,
patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control" (Galatians 5:22-23)
because
there is something so real
STIRRED deep inside of me & STIRRING deep inside of you
that is too good to be true
that makes you
BLOOM
the PEACEFULNESS OF STILLNESS
wherever you are
PLANTED
because
HIS PRESENCE
overwhelms you with
because of the
HOLY STIRRING of
HIS
"HOLY SPIRIT"
