Day 21: Christmas Is Here

As soon as she saw me,

she greeted me with a hug

and a smile

that came from deep within her HEART.

And then she handed me a picture she colored for me.

A turkey.

I will never look at a turkey the same.

And then we were making paper boats

from a napkins,

as we awaiting for our food.

And then the napkins turned into butterflies.

And all it took was a turkey, a napkin boat and abutterfly.

Then playing rock, paper, scissors.

And it was a night that is tattooed on my heart.

For the LOVE of a CHILD

is a so REAL and so DEEP,

that it overwhelms your heart.

A simple dinner,

which I never ate,

for I was in the moment

playing like a CHILD

with a CHILD.

I don't need much.

Just LOVE.

And then she said it.

That she got to pick one thing

from all the CHRISTMAS decorations,

and she said that I would be really happy.

For she chose,

"JESUS' HOUSE".

Or in another words

THE NATIVITY.

And her smile pierced my heart in that moment,

for she looked right into my eyes

and said she LOVES it.

A gift I gave her when she was born.

She told me she put Mary and Joseph in

one of the cars

 of her brother's train set,

and they got stuck.

And she giggled.

And giggled.

And I had tears streaming down

my face, like I do now.

I don't NEED much.

Just give me a

turkey, a paper boat, a butterfly,

and play with the NATIVITY.

When my granddaughter

said JESUS

and her eyes lit up,

what else is there to be said.

No wonder my heart was on fire all night.

The LOVE of a CHILD,

beaming the LOVE of JESUS, 

whether she knew it or not.

What is LOVE?

It comes all WRAPPED in the

LITTLE BABY

 who is placed

in

THE NATIVITY

at CHRISTMAS.

But if you look closely at this

LITTLE BABY,

you will

experience

your

HEART beating

like it never beat before,

because

JESUS isn't just a character in a CHRISTMAS play.

If THE BABY could talk

you would hear,

"I was born to LOVE you,

so will you LOVE ME".

Oh to have a CHRISTMAS of the HEART,

is to have

the

 FAITH of A CHILD~

“I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless you repent

[that is, change your inner self—your old way of thinking, live changed lives]

and become like children [trusting, humble, and forgiving],

you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

 Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child

is greatest in the kingdom of heaven"

(Matthew 18:3-4).

To have

FAITH LIKE A CHILD

is

 is LIFE CHANGING,

because

JESUS is our LIFE CHANGER.

JESUS was BORN to LOVE.

BORN to LOVE you.

Simple you.

Just because

HE is THE GIFT

for you, and me, and everyone else.

THE GIFT OF GRACE

that only HE can give,

that trumps every GIFT you would ever get.

A CHRISTMAS of THE HEART.

A BORN AGAIN moment,

when you EXPERIENCE

a LOVE that is

so deep,

that is so real,

that your HEART is overwhelmed

with

A PERFECT LOVE 

where there is no question whether it is

LOVE or not.

Just like the LOVE of a CHILD, 

whose

 LOVE is heartfelt.

Be a CHILD.

Just let JESUS LOVE you,

and you will have

A CHRISTMAS OF THE HEART,

in this very moment,

for HIS LOVE

is ALWAYS HERE.

So,

as you can see

CHRISTMAS is starting to sprinkle the world,

lighting up the houses

and trees waiting to be decorated.

But

CHRISTMAS never left.

For JESUS is HERE.

Right now.

For what is CHRISTMAS?

"It's in the love Heaven gave.

That night our Savior came.

 And that same love can still be found

Wherever you are

"CHRISTMAS IS ALL IN THE HEART"
