Day 20: Simply Trust

I woke up this morning thinking about something.

thinking about whether or not I "should" do something,

because of my impatience in the WAITING.

And then immediately I heard the words,

TRUST ME!

Does TRUST ME

mean to JUST SAY that I

am

TRUSTING GOD,

but then continue to

 THINK about it

so that I am thinking about

 what I THINK I

"SHOULD" do,

instead of doing what GOD asked me to do.

Hmm.

But GOD doesn't give up.

For I then read my daily devotion for the day,

which GOD obviously handpicked for me

as HIS asking me to TRUST HIM

was just an appetizer to what HE had for me.

For as I was reading the words,

it was if an arrow went straight to my heart,

piercing it with

TRUST ME.

The author didn't write the words exactly,

 but it was as if a neon sign was blinking before my face

to

"TRUST GOD

with ALL my HEART

and not to LEAN on my OWN UNDERSTANDING

and in ALL my ways

ACKNOWLEDGE HIM

and

HE SHALL DIRECT YOUR PATHS"

(Proverbs 3:6).

Now I have read this verse a gazillion times.

Now I have recited this verse a gazillion times.

But is reading and reciting this verse

actually

LIVING out HIS WORDS?

TO TRUST or NOT TO TRUST, 

or better asked,

TO BELIEVE or NOT TO BELIEVE GOD?

GOD is so gracious that HE HEARD me this morning when

I was wondering what I "SHOULD" do,

because I heard HIS WORDS,

"TRUST ME".

And after hearing those words

I experienced the meaning of the word

TRUST.

TRUST means TO TRUST.

TO SURRENDER to the ONE who you place your TRUST.

Who do you TRUST?

Where do place your TRUST?

Is it in your FEELINGS, CIRCUMSTANCES, PEOPLE, or THINGS?

This morning I was

TRUSTING in my FEELINGS with ALL my heart.

and leaning on MY FEELINGS for UNDERSTANDING, 

as to what PATH I SHOULD take.

Hmm.

So who was my GOD this morning?

ME.

And GOD knew that,

because HE KNOWS

me through and through,

for only THE CREATOR KNOWS HIS CREATIONS

through and through.

Therefore,

shouldn't HE be the ONE who to whom we place our TRUST?

as HE is the ONE we NEED to TRUST.

Here is what I read after GOD asked me to TRUST HIM~

"Self–awareness is not sin, and it can be produced by nervous emotions or by suddenly being dropped into a totally new set of circumstances.

Yet it is never GOD'S will that we should be anything less than absolutely complete in HIM. ANYTHING that disturbs our rest in HIM must be rectified at once,

and it is not rectified by being ignored but only by coming to JESUS CHRIST.

If we will come to HIM, asking HIM to produce CHRIST~awareness in us,

HE will always do it, until we fully learn to abide in HIM"

(Oswald Chambers).

GOD'S ANSWER to ALL our NEEDS

are found IN JESUS.

So where did GOD take me

after I was going down the

 "SHOULD"

path?

HE lead me back to the right path,

to have a

BE~ATITUDE

of

 TRUSTING HIM with ALL my HEART,

as HE took me back to the

SERMON ON THE MOUNT~

  "But first and most importantly

SEEK (aim at, strive after)

HIS kingdom and HIS righteousness~

 HIS way of doing and being right,

the attitude and character of GOD~

 and all these things will be given to you also"

(Matthew 6:33)

Therefore,

will you join me today and

TRUST GOD

with ALL your

FEELINGS,

CIRCUMSTANCES,

RELATIONSHIPS,

and

THINGS, 

by

SEEKING HIM FIRST

so that

TRUST becomes more than just a

word,

but a way of LIFE.

TO TRUST or NOT TO TRUST?

Because

there is only one answer~

"TRUST IN GOD"
