Today I am
21,900 days old.
or
3120 weeks old
or
720 months old
or
just plain ole
60 years old.
But oh how young 60 is compared
to Moses who lived 120 years.
As I think about the day I was born
it was the day that GOD chose for me to enter into life.
HE knitted me together in my mother's womb
and no one knits by accident.
HE purposed me here.
HE purposed you here.
I am blown away by GOD
as it is HIM who I celebrate.
For THE CREATOR of the universe
breathed me & you & everyone else into existence.
And it just doesn't stop there.
HE allows us to do whatever we want to do
no matter how crazy
or rebellious
or just plain ole stupid,
as HE waits
because HE never gives up on us.
HE never gave up on me,
as I did some
crazy, rebellious and just plain ole stupid things.
HE chased me down
as HE chases us all down,
yet so gently as to not force us
to fulfill our PURPOSE on this earth.
This one PURPOSE~
"HE predestined and lovingly planned for us to be adopted to HIMSELF as [HIS own] children through JESUS CHRIST, in accordance with the kind intention and good pleasure of
HIS will"(Ephesians 1:5)
Even though HE knows us way better than we know ourselves,
HE looks beyond all our
crazy
rebellious
stupid
and HE did the most
crazy
rebellious
stupid thing in most people's eyes~
as it is way too absurd for anyone to believe
as HE purposed JESUS
to have a BIRTH~DAY on earth
so that we can all have a BIRTH~DAY IN HIM
that lasts beyond whatever age you are & whatever age I am
in days, weeks, months or years.
A BIRTH~DAY IN HIM
because
I AM ADOPTED IN HIM.
I AM HIS
forever & ever & ever & into forever.
So on this crazy old birthday that I am half way to 120 years old.
I CELEBRATE my GOD
who PURPOSELY created me
&
MY SAVIOR
who PURPOSELY ADOPTED me
even though
I was
crazy
rebellious
&
stupid
and still do some
crazy
rebellious
&
stupid things,
yet I don't want to
because my
GOD
doesn't see me as
crazy
rebellious
& stupid
because
I AM HIS
and I say
