The hardest part of life is
LETTING GO.
 It is in the
LETTING GO
of what you hold most dear to your heart.Â
For when
 GOD
asks you to
LET GO,
HEÂ is not taking away
as HEÂ is giving you
MORE.
MORE OF HIMÂ in the middle of LESS.
So how do you LET GO
when LOVE
wants to hold on so tightly?
LOVE TRUSTS GOD
with what you LOVEÂ most.
Don't you hold onto to what you value most?
But what if what you value most,
does not want to hold onto you?
Do you do everything in your power to hold on tighter,
or do you
LET GOÂ your ALLÂ to GOD,
because ALLÂ is HISÂ anyway.
LETTING GOÂ is entrusting
your HEART,
everything that is on it
to the ONE who created your HEART.
I think of the father of the prodigal
who so loved his sons,
that he gave his one son his inheritance early,
because his son asked for it.Â
He said his good byes to his son with his mouth,
but I am sure that he was holding onto him in his heart.Â
For how do you let your child go.Â
For how did GODÂ let HIS CHILDÂ go?Â
For HE had a bigger plan.Â
A life saving plan.Â
And it took a SACRIFICE. Â
It is a sacrifice for me to let go of LOVE.Â
A LOVEÂ that LOVESÂ the child.Â
A LOVEÂ that LOVESÂ so big,
that it has to
LET GO
but to LET GO
to GODÂ who LOVESÂ bigger than I could ever LOVE.Â
For there stood the father,
who graciously said good bye to his son.Â
His son left.
But then it happened.
The father saw his son in the distant.
Coming home.Â
Oh the father’s heartbeat came back,
as he ran right to him and gave him a welcome home
filled with a LOVEÂ that was indescribable.Â
No questions asked.Â
Just welcome home son.Â
What if the father tried to keep his son as his own.
Where would the welcome home be?
What if GOD kept HIS SON to HIMSELF,Â
where would our WELCOME HOME be?
Oh that glorious moment of reconciliation that was forever.Â
To live is to die, to die is to gain.Â
To die to self. and to live for JESUS,
who GOD gave to ALL of us.Â
For ALL of the prodigals.Â
For I once was lost, but then I was found by the
ONE who LOVED me back together with a
 LOVEÂ
that is mine to share.Â
As we have been FASTINGÂ through this season of lent,
from the weights of the world,Â
GOD has emptied me once again of SELF,
so that I would experience the depth of
HIS LOVEÂ
that is indescribable.Â
GOD'S LOVEÂ fills in every hole in your heart
that has lost what is most dear.
HIS LOVEÂ comes with a vengeance,
but a good vengeance.
To RESTOREÂ all that was lost
with an
I LOVE YOU
YOU ARE MINE FOREVER.
HE is the MORE in the middle of my LESS.Â
I LET GO, and it hurts at times,
but as I LET GOÂ to GOD
HEÂ doesn't leave me with a gapping hole,
for HE fills it with MORE of HIMSELF.
LETTING GOÂ is hard to do, yet part of life.Â
But LETTING GO TO GOD
is the sweet spot of experiencing HIS LOVEÂ that LOVES
beyond the hole that is left behind.
Is GODÂ asking you to LET GOÂ of
that something
or that someone
that you LOVEÂ so big,
that it hurts to even think about your life
without it or without he or she?
LETTING GOÂ is not saying good bye forever,
for it is saying
GOD I LOVE YOU SO MUCH
that I will
LOVE YOUÂ with
ALLÂ my heart
ALLÂ my soul
and
ALLÂ my mind
because
"GOD IS LOVE"
