Day 2: Unfearful

I faced a big FEAR.

I finally went to the dentist.

Oh the FEAR is the FEAR of waiting for that

electric shock that goes through your whole body

when all it takes is touching that little spot

on one of your teeth that you had no idea had such power

to control you~

even though it hasn't happened

even though it may not happened~

but just because it happened before

then there is room for FEAR to move in

to

paralyze you

to

anxiety you

so that you just avoid doing the thing that you need to do

even if it means that all your teeth may fall out.

Isn't it crazy how our mind works?

Why would a dentist purposely want to hurt you?

Could it be because when you were a child and he promised that he wasn't going

to pull your tooth...

and then he did!!!

Hmm.

FEAR

is all around us.

FEAR is based on a past happening

that guarantees that "it" is going to happen again.

Therefore you wait for "it"

by controlling "it"

with FEAR.

But what power does FEAR really have?

FEAR is a big stop sign that makes you paralyzed in WAIT.

What is your biggest FEAR?

FEAR of

~rejection

~the loss of a loved one

~being alone

~speaking the truth

~facing the day

~doing the next thing.

or

you fill in the blank~

____________.

But what if FEAR is FEAR of yourself~

FEAR of

feeling what you don't want to feel.

But you can't stop it

unless you

FACE the FACE of FEAR

which is you.

But it is possible when you FACE the FEAR with the FACE of THE ONE who

takes away FEAR

because

HIS LOVE is so PERFECT

that is greater than even your greatest FEAR.

Oh easier said than done

when the arrow of FEAR comes flying towards you,

but

so easy when you see FEAR just an intruder that strives to make you believe

that what are FEARING will happen.

But what if it does?

Where is GOD?

Remember Job~

the king of what can go wrong did go wrong~

"What I feared has come upon me;

what I dreaded has happened to me.

I have no peace, no quietness;

I have no rest, but only turmoil" (Job 3:25-26)

Where was GOD?

Oh right there with him.

Right there bringing GLORY TO HIS NAME

even through the most FEARFUL circumstances.

Oh Job acknowledging that

GOD IS IN CONTROL~

“I know that YOU can do all things;

no purpose of yours can be thwarted" (Job 42:2)

Oh FEAR you are no longer an option

because

GOD IS BIGGER

&

BETTER

&

takes us beyond any FEAR that appears to be

BIGGER & BETTER than GOD

because

GOD RESTORES

GOD REVIVES

GOD REDEEMS

all things through HIS SON JESUS.

The power of FEAR removed

as PERFECT LOVE DRIVES OUT FEAR (I John 4:18)

for

In Forever there will be no FEAR

because

FEAR will not be an option

when

JESUS becomes the ONLY OPTION.

Therefore, as I go and get a crown on my cracked tooth today

I will not FEAR

for

FEAR IS NO LONGER AN OPTION

because
