Day 2: Un Labor Day

Once Upon A Time

I built a castle with the

bricks in my suitcase

that I took with me wherever I went.

As I sat in my castle,

I read the inscription on each brick~

Bitterness,

Hurt,

Despair,

Anxiety,

Insignificance,

Insecurity,

&

Rejection.

But then

JESUS

came into my story,

taking each brick to build

HIS CROSS,

as I exchanged them for

Forgiveness,

Healing,

Hope,

Peace,

Significance,

Security,

&

Acceptance,

because I came to

HIM

weary & tired,

as I was

so sick & tired of

being sick & tired

of

LABORING~

to grow weary, tired, exhausted (with toil or burdens or grief).

What is LABORING you?

Is it anger?

Become

UNLABORED ~

"In your anger do not sin: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry" 

(Ephesians 4:26)

Is it bitterness?

Become

UNLABORED ~

"Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone.

Forgive as the LORD forgave you" (Colossians 3:13).

Is it Anxiety?

Become

UNLABORED ~

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving,

let your requests be made known to GOD; and the peace of GOD,

which surpasses all understanding,

will guard your hearts and minds through CHRIST JESUS" (Philippians 4:6-7).

Is it Hopelessness?

Become

UNLABORED ~

"May the GOD of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him,

so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT" (Romans 15:13).

Is it rejection?

Become

UNLABORED ~

"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in CHRIST JESUS"

(Romans 8:1)

Is it ____________?

As long as we walk this earth

we will have

LABOR

pains,

which also means that there is a need for a

DELIVERER

who will make us

UNLABORED~

"Come to ME, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

(Matthew 11:28)

What is LABORING you?

Let's take this

LABOR DAY

seriously

as we really take the day off~

"Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart,

and you will find rest for your souls" (Matthew 11:29)

so that

HE

UN~LABORS

us.

So what could possibly be LABORING you now?
