Day 2: Time Changer

Tick. Tick. Tick. Tick.

Last night we gained another hour.

Oh wouldn't it be great if you could turn back your

LIFE CLOCK

and have an extra hour

to do that one thing that you wish you did,

or to undo that one thing that you wish you didn't do?

But THANKS be to GOD

that when

JESUS comes into your LIFE

HE sets your CLOCK back

and

FORGIVES what has already been done.

Oh the FREEDOM to get a

DO~OVER IN CHRIST. 

Because

"If anyone is IN CHRIST, the NEW CREATION has come.

The old has gone, the new has come"

(2 Corinthians 5:17).

I love NEW, because NEW never gets OLD,

IN CHRIST.

It is like you experience a Christmas in your heart,

A BORN AGAIN

moment,

that makes

every second an opportunity to

BEGIN AGAIN ANEW.

 I know this firsthand, as I find it funny that the older I get

the younger I feel and act!

Maybe it is because the older I get

I am living more as the REAL me who GOD created me to be~

A NEW CREATION IN CHRIST.

I am not able to TURN BACK the clock

and have a DO~OVER,

but THANKS TO JESUS

for CHANGING me.

For I wish I was 64 when I was 21 years old.

 Then I would have

not taken offense,

not taken defense,

not carried worries,

not searched for the meaning of life in the wrong places,

not carried anger & bitterness,

not be so full of fear & doubt,

and

not thought of GOD as a joy stealer

and

not believed that JESUS was just a religion

and

not thought that a conviction was condemnation.

But now that I am 64,

I bet when I am 65

I will wish that I was

65 at 21,

because

every minute,

every day,

every week,

every month,

and

every year,

I get better & better & better

as I continue to

let JESUS make the REAL CHANGES in me,

because only HE

makes me younger & younger & younger

as I continue to get older & older & older.

For JESUS continues to release the

little playful girl inside of me

as HE releases

the CHILD~LIKE FAITH

inside,

that makes me

younger & younger & younger

as I get older & older & older.

Oh the FREEDOM

of

BEING REAL WITH JESUS

is what

sets you FREE,

so

HE RELEASES

THE CHILD

in you

 so that your younger self

meets you older self,

so that you can finally

 just be your

REAL SELF IN JESUS.

So what would you tell your younger self?
