Day 2: More Of You

What would you give to

JESUS

if HE made a special trip to your home

and said,

"I want you to give ME your most precious possession.

It may actually be something that is causing you pain,

yet you can't let it go.

It may be something that you love so much,

 yet you are depending on it too much.

It may be something that you can't let go,

because you can't picture your life without it.

It may actually be you.

But whatever it is

I promise to carry it for you.

I promise that you will be filled with

MORE than "it" could ever provide,

For

MY PEACE & MY HOPE & MY JOY

is ABUNDANTLY MORE than

what

_______________ could ever try to give you.

Will you give IT to ME".

And there you are.

In utter silence, yet in awe.

JESUS made a special trip to come to see you.

And all HE asks is for your IT, so that HE can become

 MORE

in your life.

So what if you gave JESUS

your IT?

What is your IT?

Is IT  a habit that you practice, whenever you are feeling LESS then.

 Is IT is a thought that you ruminate on,

in HOPE that the more you think about IT,

IT will change.

Is IT is a person who you LOVE so deeply,

yet they aren't LOVING you so deeply

Is IT YOU?

JESUS can SEE your HEART and your FEAR of LETTING GO.

HE knows you LOVE HIM. 

But HE LOVES you MORE. 

That is why HE is asking you for your IT.

So what does JESUS really want?

IT isn't specifically your IT,

as IT is your TRUST. 

HE wants your TRUST. 

So HE draws closer to you.

HE then speaks the following word

that piercse your HEART~

"PLEASE".

Oh you FEEL HIM,.

You never want to leave HIM,

because you are looking at JESUS and HE is looking at you,

with such an indescribable LOVE.

And you give HIM _________, 

because

you want to live the ABUNDANT LIFE in the here &now,

and because

you are weary of carrying your burdens yourself,

and because

you are stuck in this moment and don't know how to press forward,

and because

you are disappointed & bitter & lonely & sad,

and because

you are tired of doing the same thing over and over again

expecting something different.

You tell JESUS to wait a second,

as you go and gather all your

"ITS"

so you can

SURRENDER each one.

One by One.

The first one was the most difficult to RELEASE,

because it is YOU!

And then it became easier and easier

to

SURRENDER MORE OF YOU

as you

 become

LIGHTER & LIGHTER

as you

RELEASE MORE,

because your HEART receives

MORE than you could ever image.

JESUS asks.

JESUS waits.

For JESUS is a gentleman and does not force to

take from you what you don't want to give HIM. 

If only you could SEE what HE has you,

in exchange for what you are holding onto so tightly.

But then you look at the CROSS

and SEE what HE gave up for you.

What is your IT?

Will you place IT at the CROSS

and TRUST JESUS with IT,

for HE has so MUCH MORE for you

in the HERE & NOW.

For JESUS is

 bigger and better

then anyone or anything

that you make bigger than HIM. 

So will you join me and

FAST from your IT. 

RELEASE IT into the arms of JESUS,

so that you WILL experience

the MORE that transcends all understanding

because

JESUS transcends all understanding.

And all JESUS wants is

MORE OF YOU

and that means

Less of you.

So just ask~

JESUS, I want

"MORE OF YOU"

HE takes it and gives me so much more,

more of what I really need~

HIM.

So will you join me on this

EPIPHANY Sunday

and give to

JESUS your most precious possession~

just as the

THREE WISE MEN & even the LITTLE DRUMMER BOY

gave to

THE BABY JESUS.

What will you give to

YOUR SAVIOR

because

JESUS IS MORE THAN A RESOLUTION~

HE IS SO MUCH MORE!

"I came that they may have life and have it abundantly."
