Day 2: God's Yes

JESUS became MAN.

HE was BORN.

HE was BAPTIZED.

HE was TEMPTED.

Actually TEMPTED on purpose.

"Then JESUS was led by the HOLY SPIRIT into the wilderness

 to be tempted by the devil"*

Yikes.

PURPOSELY TEMPTED.

Is TEMPTATION bad,

or can it be used for GOOD?

It depends who the TEMPTER is.

In another words,

who is giving the TEST. 

For the meaning of the word

TEMPTED

is

TO BE TESTED~

 "to be put to the test in order to ascertain the nature of someone,

 including imperfections, faults, or other qualities" (logos).

Hmm.

GOD TESTS in order for you to PASS.

The enemy TESTS in order for you to FAIL.

So is LIFE just a PASS FAIL course

or is LIFE a WIN WIN?

It all depends how you ANSWER this question~

TO BE OR NOT TO BE?

JESUS was TO BE hungry,

when HIS TEST began,

"After HE had gone without food for forty days and forty nights,

HE became hungry"*

Was HE "TO BE" TESTED?

Oh yes,

In preparation for HIS MINISTRY to begin on earth.

JESUS PASSED the TEST Adam and Eve FAILED in the GARDEN.

TO BE OR NOT TO BE TEMPTED

or TO BE OR NOT TO BE OBEDIENT to what GOD INVITES you to

BE OBEDIENT TO.

And there is another hard word that could sound like the

PRESSURE

TO BE PERFECT.

OBEDIENT!

Or is OBEDIENCE

TO BE who GOD has INVITED you to be~

ALL HIS!

Oh BLESSED OBEDIENCE

is THE ANSWER!

Have I confused you yet.

TO BE or NOT TO BE,

HIS?

TO eat the apple or not to eat the apple,

has one ANSWER,

but when the TEMPTER gets involved

it becomes

CONFUSION.

"Did GOD REALLY SAY"

are the WORDS that

birth

DOUBT.

One drop of DOUBT is all we need

in order to not to do

 what GOD INVITES us not to do.

GOD TESTS you to PASS.

So did JESUS PASS the test in the desert?

Oh with flying colors.

For JESUS had the ANSWERS,

for HE was BORN to be the ANSWER.

For who is JESUS?

THE WORD~

"In the beginning [before all time] was the WORD (CHRIST), and the

WORD was with God, and the WORD was GOD HIMSELF"

(John 1: 1).

So how did JESUS ANSWER the enemy's TEST,

with

GOD'S WORD!

"It is written and forever remains written"*

(Matthew 4)

Have I confused you yet, or did I just give you

THE ANSWER to ALL of GOD'S TESTS?

"For all the promises of GOD find their Yes in HIM. That is why it is through HIM

 that we utter our AMEN to GOD for HIS glory"

(2 Corinthians 1:20).

So let's go back to

THE TEST that JESUS PASSED,

so that you can PASS ALL TESTS,

when you are lead into the desert.

The TESTS that come in the shape of

a TRIAL,

a HEALTH ISSUE,

a LOSS,

a CONFLICT,

a BITTERNESS,

a ________________,

you fill in the blank.

REAL LIFE TESTS.

But we have a

 REAL GOD

who has equipped us ALL  to PASS,

because

GOD gave us

THE ANSWER

the moment after

Adam and Eve failed the first TEST.

JESUS!

So here is THE ANSWER to

PASS ALL TESTS.

And all you have to do is put your name.

Ready. Get Set. Go.

"In any and every circumstance I, __________________,

 have learned the secret [of facing life], whether well-fed or going hungry,

 whether having an abundance or being in need.  I, __________________,

can do all things [which He has called me to do]

through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—

I, ____________________, am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency;

I, ___________________,

am ready for anything and equal to anything through

Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]

(Philippians 4:12-13)

TO BE OR NOT TO BE,

HIS?

Hmm.

JESUS IS THE ANSWER
