Day 19: Wait

The SIGN is BIG.

But you act as if that the

WORD you read

isn't true.

So you turn the doorknob

to

OPEN THE DOOR,

but it is locked.

And you wonder why.

But then you read the

SIGN again,

and it reads

WAIT!

Oh how I do this all the time.

GOD CLOSES a DOOR,

but then I question HIM

as I try to OPEN it,

as I think that maybe I didn't hear

GOD correctly.

Maybe GOD really didn't say,

"BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD" (Psalm 46:10).

Maybe GOD really didn't say,

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding" (Proverbs 3:5).

Maybe GOD really didn't say,

Wait for the LORD;

be strong, and

let your heart take courage;

wait for the LORD!” (Psalm 27:14).

So maybe just maybe

THE WAIT DOOR is

THE OPEN DOOR

that you have been looking for,

to remind you that

GOD IS GOD

&

GOD IS IN CONTROL

& that

WAIT means that

GOD has something so much BETTER than you could ever imagine,

because HE already has done something that is

ABUNDANTLY BETTER.

Just look at the CROSS.

Just look at the EMPTY GRAVE.

Just look at the NAIL HOLES on the RISEN CHRIST,

who so many strived to

CLOSE the DOOR on HIM.

But you can't CLOSE THE DOOR

on the ONE who is

THE DOOR~

"I am the DOOR; anyone who enters through ME will be saved [and will live forever], and will go in and out [freely], and find pasture (spiritual security). The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy.

I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance

[to the full, till it overflows]" (John 10:9-10).

Therefore,

WAIT

is the beginning of something

ABUNDANTLY BETTER

for

“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what GOD has prepared for those who love HIM" (I Corinthians 2:9).

Therefore,

walk away from

THE WAIT DOOR,

for

GOD holds the key,

and HE WILL

OPEN it in HIS TIMING.

For GOD'S WILL is GOD'S WILL.

Meanwhile,

HE is INVITING you to

WALK with THE ONE

who is THE DOOR

who is

ALWAYS OPENED

to

"WAIT"*

with you.
