and I am glad that I am not MY OWN
because when I was MY OWN
it was all about ME
and MY WAY
that always lead ME to the wrong place
because
I AM NOTHING
&
I can DO NOTHING
on
MY OWN.

after "If the"?
THE SON.
There is no ME in SON.
And oh what FREEDOM you experience
when you
surrender your
HEART, SOUL, & MIND
to
THE SON.
It is at that moment
that
you never have to do anything on
your OWN
as
"BE STILL & KNOW that GOD IS GOD" (Psalm 46:10)
becomes your reality,
so that you can not help yourself
but to get up
and RECEIVE all that is yours
IN JESUS,
because all that you want to do is to
FOLLOW HIM,
so that you become the person who you were created to be
IN CHRIST.
FREEDOM is found in DENYING yourself
so that
JESUS can have ALL of you.
Because
when you GIVE your LIFE to JESUS
it is JESUS who never stops
GIVING MORE to you
so that you are
LIVING THE ABUNDANT LIFE
even if you have nothing.
Because
JESUS IS EVERYTHING
as
HE GAVE HIS EVERYTHING
so we can HAVE HIS EVERYTHING.
And ALL we have to do is to
. "Be up and awake to what GOD is doing! GOD is putting the finishing touches on the salvation work he began when we first believed. We can’t afford to waste a minute, must not squander these precious daylight hours in frivolity and indulgence, in sleeping around and dissipation, in bickering and grabbing everything in sight. Get out of bed and get dressed!
Don’t loiter and linger, waiting until the very last minute.
Dress yourselves in CHRIST,
and be up and about!" (Romans 13)
CHRISTIANITY isn't a spectator sport.
GOD has equipped us with ALL we need to LIVE THE LIFE OF FREEDOM.
HE GAVE HIS SON.
HE GAVE HIS SPIRIT.
HE GAVE us FREE WILL
to LIVE every moment
as FREE.
Ready. Set. Go.
