Day 19: Suddenly Free

"Be serious in your commitment to GOD

and gladly leave everything else alone.

 Literally put GOD first in your life" (Chambers).

The words of Oswald Chambers,

that I read every day.

A man who served GOD till the very end.

So much so,

that at the age of 43

he left this earth do to complications

from surgery.

A short life on earth, but a FOREVER life FOREVER!

For ETERNITY is FOREVER.

He lived a life of FOREVER

because he LIVED his

LIFE for GOD.

So the words,

"Be serious in your commitment to GOD

and gladly leave everything else alone.

 Literally put GOD first in your life"

pierced my heart

in a way that

has brought me from a place of

WEARINESS

back to the why of WEARINESS.

I am serious about my commitment to GOD,

yet now I know why the WEARINESS. 

As I am not "gladly" leaving everything else alone.

I CAST my ANXIETIES on HIM,

and then take them back.

I TRUST IN HIM with ALL my HEART,

yet keep a part of my HEART behind.

I PRAY for HIS WILL, 

yet down deep I want my WILL.

WEARINESS overwhelms me when

I LIVE with a DIVIDED HEART.

A HEART that forgets that JESUS has my HEART. 

A HEART that forgets that JESUS has HEALED my BROKENNESS.

A HEART that forgets that JESUS has set me FREE from all that kept me captive.

A HEART that forgets that I have a FULL HEART that I am told to

"Guard and keep yourselves in the love of GOD; expect and patiently wait for the mercy of our LORD JESUS CHRIST (the Messiah)—

[which will bring you] unto life eternal" (Jude 21).

So when I hold back from "gladly" leaving everything behind,

I think that I am GUARDING my HEART from being hurt,

when actually I am hurting HIS HEART that is in me.

I either TRUST GOD or I don't.

I either BELIEVE GOD or I don't.

I either

"CAST all my ANXIETY on HIM,

  because HE cares for me" (I Peter 5:7)

or I don't.

This morning is a morning of

SWEET SURRENDER.

I lay down my

WEARINESS

caused by my own self-protection,

and instead

"Be serious in your commitment to GOD

and gladly leave everything else alone.

 Literally put GOD first in your life" .

So thank YOU GOD for using the words of

Oswald Chambers

to bring me back to

YOUR HEART

to restore my HEART.

Will you lay down any WEARINESS

that has become a burden

and

SURRENDER your ALL to HIM, 

so that you

WILL

experience

ALL GOD has for you

because

GOD never holds back in

filling your HEART.

As HE did it again for me.

It happened
