FEELINGS aren't secrets to be hidden.
IF FEELINGS are what you FEEL
so what do you do with them?
Do you keep them tucked inside
and hope that they go away?
But FEELINGS have a way of taking over your being
that they don't leave you alone.
You wear them like a tight glove
that just won't come off
unless you choose to take the time to remove
them one finger at a time.
You know them as you FEELING them now.
Is it ANGER
FEAR
SADNESS
FRUSTRATION
or
_________?
But you don't have to FEEL them alone.
When you know that you can share them with
SOMEONE who wants them
it is so freeing
even if you can't FEEL the SOMEONE who wants your feelings
because
JESUS isn't a FEELING.
JESUS IS REAL.
JESUS takes what is in your head,
that is taking over your heart~
a place where HE wants to reside
because it is in the HEART
where JESUS does what HE has come to do.
"HE heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3)
HE attaches to your heart and never leaves.
FEELINGS aren't secrets to be hidden
because JESUS knows them already.
Oh such a step of freedom when you
"Cast all your anxiety on HIM because HE cares for you" (I Peter 5:6-8)
Because JESUS is more than a FEELING
because
GOD is more than a FEELING
because HE shows up the moment you show up~
"I sought the LORD, and HE answered me;
HE delivered ME from all my fears" (Psalm 34:4)
