What if the caterpillar refused to get out of the cocoon?
What if he so loved his life crawling around eating leaves
that he missed the life of flying and eating the sweet things of life.
What if?
Oh how I feel like that caterpillar at times when I act like a
CATER~FLY. Yup.
I know that I am a NEW CREATION IN HIM,
yet when I live IN me I go back to the days I used to crawl
eating the same thing
doing the same thing
believing the same thing
just like everyone else,
yet always searching for something more.
Never satisfied.
Never content.
Do you feel like you are crawling through life when you were created to FLY?
Oh how I forget WHOSE I am
when I am chasing butterflies,
yet I am one.
For I am & you are a
NEW CREATION IN HIM
because the moment you accept the reality
that you & I & everyone else needs JESUS in order to fly
we are UNLEASHED into a NEW LIFE that is ours forever
that begins the moment we say I DO to JESUS.
Oh to FLY
FORGIVEN & FAVORED
even if we don't know how to fly,
because we can't fly on our own~
"I,________*(put your name)
can do all things through CHRIST who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13)
Oh my crawling days are over,
yet they return when I try to do all things through ME
and it doesn't end well.
But GOD knows me so well & you & everyone else
that even though we may return to our crawling days~
"Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall..."
HE lifts us up with we LOOK UP~
"but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint" (Isaiah 40:31)
Oh leave cocoon living behind
