The sun is bleeding through the sky as if the day depended on it.
It is pushing so hard that its colors are taking over.
It is so supernatural,
that seeing it
is like it is the first time.
And then the sun will take over,
and the sunscreen will be put on,
and the sunglasses will cover the eyes,
as its beaming light will erase the darkness.
And then before you know it
the sun will start to pull its colors away,
so that the moon will have the stage.
But the sun & moon are working together,
as they provide the light that never goes out.
What if the sun wanted to take center stage at night
and said to the moon,
"I am the light".
What if the moon wanted to stay up all night
so that it could be the main attraction and greet the world in the morning
and respond back to the sun,
"I am the light".
I bet there would be no light.
But what if another
VOICE
broke through the
sun & moon's
bickering
and
bled all over the earth
and said~
“I am the LIGHT of the world..."*
Would the sun stop & would the moon stop
striving to be
SEEN,
even though they believe their role is so important?
As there is only one sun and only one moon
and only one you,
who are all part of something so big,
so that when "they" step aside
and when you & I step aside
we become so
ENLIGHTENED
because we are
part of a bigger story.
As it isn't about
who casts the most light,
because there is ONLY ONE who is the LIGHT
that does so much more
then making day day
or night or night~
"Whoever follows ME will not walk in darkness,
but will have the LIGHT of life" (John 8:12).
Because IN CHRIST there is no darkness
and HIS LIGHT
never goes out.
Oh step aside sun.
Oh step aside moon.
Oh step aside you & me & everyone else
and take the place of second,
for we are all part of a bigger story,
yet all play a part,
because if we all
made it about ourselves
would there be any room
to RECEIVE the LIGHT
that LIGHTS up our hearts
one by one by one,
so that we become
HIS little beacons
just because we embraced the
TRUE LIGHT
that never goes out.
For HIS LIGHT
pushes out the darkness in us.
Oh CHRISTMAS IN JULY.
"IMMANUEL",
GOD IS WITH US,
and HIS NAME IS JESUS~
THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD.
So move over darkness.
Let HIS LIGHT shine through you,
as you absorb HIS LIGHT
in your heart and mind,
so that it overwhelms the darkness
and never goes out.

Always providing the light needed to light the skies
JESUS,
always providing the LIGHT needed to LIGHT up the darkness of the world,
because HE is THE LIGHT~
