This is REAL LIFE~
where you are in this very moment
because where you are that is where you are.
What does your REAL LIFE feel like?
Is it what you thought it would feel like in this moment of time?
But is LIFE a feeling or a REALITY?
Oh how I complicate this thing called
LIFE
and maybe you do also.
Oh when my hands get involved in trying to
change what I can't change
I complicate LIFE.
But then I am reminded as
A REAL GOD whispers to me those words of surrender
that makes me cringe at times
because I don't want to
LET GO
of what I think I can control and change.
HE so simplifies my life when I
listen to HIS soft whisper that I know is TRUTH
and
when I BELIEVE what HE says is TRUTH
by actually doing what HE asks.
Oh how complicated becomes so simple
because if HE told me once HE will tell me again~
but it is up to me & you & everyone else to
invite A REAL JESUS into our REAL STORY
and do REAL LIFE in the way that HE asks~
“Anyone who intends to come with me has to let me lead.
You’re not in the driver’s seat;
I am. Don’t run from suffering; embrace it.
Follow ME and I’ll show you how.
Self-help is no help at all.
Self-sacrifice is the way,
MY way, to finding yourself, your true self.
What kind of deal is it to get everything you want but lose yourself?
What could you ever trade your soul for?" (Matthew16:24-26 MSG).
Oh I hear HIS simple whisper that reminds me to
let go of all of me~
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart & lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to HIM, & HE will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6)
because HE does my LIFE way better than I can strive to do it myself
as HE UN~COMPLICATES the COMPLICATED
in all things as HE IS our
"PROVIDER" (listen to the song below)
