FAITH is a funny thing.
It is something that you can't
SEE,
but it is something that you DO.
It is like when a waiter brings you your
food order,
and tells you to enjoy every bite.
You look at the plate.
It is empty.
You can't SEE any food.
BUT the waiter told you to enjoy every bite.
FAITH is like eating without opening your mouth.
Is the plate really EMPTY
or is it
FULL with a FEAST that you may miss
if you don't open your mouth.
Oh the GIFT OF FAITH.
CHEW. CHEW. CHEW.
"Open your mouth and taste,
open your eyes and SEE~ how good GOD is. Blessed are you who run to HIM"
(Psalm 34:8).
Oh the sweet indulgence of
FAITH
that
TASTES PEACE when your plate is full of ANXIETY
&
TASTES HOPE when DESPAIR is all you SEE
&
TASTES LOVE when REJECTION is what you are being fed
&
TASTES JOY
that never leaves your tastebuds,
no matter what is being served on your plate
because
"Faith is confidence in GOD before you see GOD emerging;
therefore the nature of FAITH is that it must be tried" (Chambers.)
What if you could SEE FAITH,
would you have to have FAITH?
Now that is a mouthful.
Oh FAITH pushes you to the limits
when you are FED up with what may be on your plate.
FAITH TASTES THE MEAL BEFORE IT IS ON THE PLATE.
If you don't lift up your fork
and take a bite of
FAITH first
you will never be able to
TASTE FAITH,
which is always the best part of every meal
even if you don't like the meal that is served.
Because
FAITH SEES THE FEAST~
"Even though on the outside it often
looks like things are falling apart on us,
on the inside,
where GOD is making new life,
not a day goes by without his unfolding grace.
.These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times,
the lavish celebration prepared for us.
There’s far more here than meets the eye.
The things we see now are here today,
gone tomorrow.
But the things we can’t see now will last forever"
(2 Corinthians 4:18).
FAITH makes BITTER taste SWEET!
Oh make your first bite be
FAITH
and
TASTE and SEE that the LORD is GOOD
because
"FAITH SEES A MIRACLE LOOKING FOR A HOME"
(listen to the song below)
