Day 18: Stillness Of Change

The trees are so STILL

as they are awaiting the morning sun.

They haven't been this STILL

as the winds have been hard on them.

But when the gust comes,

the trees just obey and have to blow where the wind blows.

But now they remain oh so STILL,

even after a whirlwind.

I want to be a palm tree,

STILL standing so tall

even when a whirlwind comes~

"Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for HE who promised is faithful"

(Hebrews 10:23).

Just blowing with the wind~

"The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit”(John 3:8)

To embrace every windy moment with such STILLNESS

just to hear HIS whisper~

"Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake.. After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper" (I Kings 19:11-12)

Oh my friend,

the sweet serenity of

THE STILLNESS OF GOD

that awakens your soul

to a whole new world,

that awakens all of your senses

to experience

GOD'S IMMEASURABLY MORE

while being

STILL.

Have a STILL day!

"BE STILL AND KNOW,

that I am GOD" (Psalm 46:10),

so that every

gust

and

whirlwind

is as STILL as a

summer breeze

that lifts your wings to soar above

because you,

who hopes in the LORD

will renew ______'s strength.

______ will soar on wings like eagles;

______ will walk and not be faint" (Isaiah 40:31).

Oh the STILLNESS that precipitates
