Those three words that are so easy to say,
yet so hard to do~
LET IT GO.
What is your
IT
that is so hard to
LET GO,
even though
the
IT
has LET GO of you?
Think about IT.
IT comes in ALL shapes and sizes.
An IT that is a CIRCUMSTANCE where you have no control.
An IT that is relationship that you have no control.
An IT,
that you do have control over,
because you are holding onto IT so tightly,
because you can't see your life without IT?
Oh the power of the IT,
because IT has such a hold on you
that it creates
ANXIETY
WORRY
DOUBT
&
FEAR.
So is it really about
LETTING GO of the IT
or the
ANXIETY
WORRY
DOUBT
&
FEAR
that comes with IT?
Hmm.
LET IT GO~
"casting all your cares
[all your anxieties, all your worries,
and all your concerns, once and for all] on HIM,
for HE cares about
you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully]".
(I Peter 5:7)
Don't you feel your HEART becoming lighter?
For LETTING GO
makes room for
JOY~
"Rejoice in the LORD ALWAYS
[delight, take pleasure in HIM];
again I will say, rejoice!
Let your gentle spirit [your graciousness, unselfishness, mercy, tolerance, and patience] be known to all people.
The LORD is near"*
Oh the
PEACE of LETTING GO~
"but in everything
[every circumstance and situation]
by prayer and petition with thanksgiving,
continue to make your [specific] requests known to God"*
Are you ready to
LET IT GO?
Even if you aren't ready to
LET IT GO
will you do it anyway with me
and do
FIRST THINGS FIRST~
"TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND LEAN NOT ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING..." (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Ready. Set. Go.
DEAR GOD~
I cast ALL my
ANXIETIES
WORRIES
DOUBTS
&
FEARS
that are caused by my
IT.
I REJOICE IN YOU
for YOU know what YOU are doing,
as YOU are working ALL things for my good.
I entrust my
IT
to you
in PRAYER with THANKSGIVING,
because I know that
YOUR PEACE
"that transcends all understanding" *(Philippians 4: 4-7)
enables me to
BE JOYFUL ALWAYS
because that is
YOUR WILL
for me
as
I LET GO of __________~
"Rejoice always and delight in your faith;
be unceasing and persistent in prayer; in every situation
[no matter what the circumstances]
be thankful and continually give thanks to GOD;
for this is the will of GOD for you in CHRIST JESUS"
(I Thessalonians 5:16-18).
Oh LETTING GO never felt so good
because
GOD is the GOOD
in ALL THINGS.
FIRST THINGS FIRST~
"I'M GONNA LET GO"
