Oh it is that time of year
when the germs are flying
when hand sanitizer is a staple
when tissues are man's best friend.
One little sneeze is all it takes
to pass it along to another
who has no clue that they caught it until they sneeze.
But what if people caught
JESUS
like they catch a cold?
What if JESUS WAS CONTAGIOUS
that whomever you come in contact with
experiences something so different~
that after leaving your presence
they want what you have?
Just what if
HIS PEACE
flowed from you while you were the midst of a great storm
because you were
"joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer" (Romans 12:12)
Jut what if
HIS LOVE
poured over those who needed LOVE the most?
"Don't pick on people, jump on their failures, criticize their faults -
unless, of course, you want the same treatment.
Don't condemn those who are down; that hardness can boomerang.
Be easy on people; you'll find life a lot easier.
Give away your life; you'll find life given back, but not merely given back -
given back with bonus and blessing.
Giving, not getting, is the way. Generosity begets generosity." (Luke 6: 37-38)
Just what if 2020 was the year when
JESUS became so CONTAGIOUS
that HE infected everyone
because you are so INFECTED with JESUS
that you SPREAD HIM wherever you go~
"Imitate GOD, therefore, in everything you do, because you are HIS dear children.
Live a life filled with love, following the example of CHRIST. HE loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to GOD" (Ephesians 5:1-2)
May JESUS infect your being so that you
PAY HIM FORWARD
to one SOMEBODY at a time
leaving "NOBODY"* behind.
