Day 18: Forgiving Grace

GRACE is the OPEN DOOR to FORGIVENESS.

You are treated wrongly.

And there are

OPEN DOORS to how you will respond.

FREEDOM OF CHOICE.

For there is

THE DOOR OF GRACE

and

THE DOOR OF ANGER.

Oh wide is the door of ANGER,

for if you pick that door

you will not be alone

because

BITTERNESS,

FRUSTRATION,

SELF RIGHTEOUSNESS

will come with you.

And then you will RESPOND to the one who treated you wrongly

with what you believe that they deserve.

But then you both will leave

STILL ANGRY,

STILL FRUSTRATED,

STILL BITTER,

and STILL SELF RIGHTEOUS.

Then you see the

 DOOR OF GRACE.

It is quite NARROW,

because if you choose this door

there is no room for

ANGER,

BITTERNESS,

FRUSTRATION,

and

SELF RIGHTEOUSNESS.

For there is only room for

GRACE.

But you have to take the first step,

and leave your emotions at the door.

FREEDOM OF CHOICE.

GRACE vs. ANGER.

And you see HIM, standing in front of the

DOOR OF GRACE

and hear HIS INVITATION

to COME.

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.  But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it"

(Matthew 7:13-14)

For when I was confronted with being treated not so nice,

I was a wee bit ANGRY as I was being accused of something

that was not true.

And there was

FREEDOM OF CHOICE,

to chose which DOOR to walk through.

And THE DOOR OF GRACE

was calling my name.

For the HOLY SPIRIT had my back.

It was if I had no CHOICE,

and I really didn't

for GRACE always WINS.

I walked away with PEACE,

yet still a wee bit angry

for the battle was fierce within me,

yet GOD's voice was winning the battle.

Hours later when I saw the person again,

I actually thanked him for resolving the issue.

And before you know it our conversation became about FAITH,

and a whisper from above for me to present him a gumby JESUS.

And if you know me, you know of gumby JESUS.

I reached into my book bag and gave it to him.

 He burst into tears.

I burst into tears.

GRACE opened up a door that I would have missed.

And then because of this,

another door opened to a two hour conversation with someone,

who just started telling me his story.

Oh I wish I had another gumby JESUS to give to him,

but it wasn't about what I could give him

as it was about what

GOD gave us.

For JESUS was the main guest.

Oh THE GIFT OF GRACE

opens DOORS to

GOD'S

IMMEASURABLY MORE

that transcends all understanding.

What if I chose the other door of ANGER.

Oh I would have missed out of

THE GLORY of the LORD.

GRACE takes the first step that leaves behind

ANGER,

FRUSTRATION,

BITTERNESS,

and SELF RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Now I don't need to get an award for doing this,

as this is what GOD INVITES us to do all the time,

for HIS door of GRACE is opened for one and for all.

And I thank the HOLY SPIRIT for HIS FRUIT of

PATIENCE and SELF CONTROL,

that lead me to the door of

FORGIVENESS that is covered with GRACE.

For without HIM, I would have chosen the other door.

You see two doors.

One marked with GRACE

and the other marked with ANGER.

One is wide opened

and the other is narrow.

FREEDOM OF CHOICE.

For what if I chose the other door?

I don't want to think about it,

as I would have missed out of

GOD'S IMMEASURABLY MORE

HE had for me.

For GOD'S well never dries.

Do you want HIS MORE in the middle of LESS?

So will you join me and

 FAST from the weights of

ANGER,

FRUSTRATION,

BITTERNESS,

and SELF RIGHTEOUSNESS,

by CHOOSING GRACE.

Oh it is worth it,

For when you walk through the door of GRACE,

that is

"WHERE FORGIVENESS IS"

(listen to the song below)
