Day 17: No Condemnation

VULNERABILITY~

To expose your heart

without the fear

of

rejection,

yet with an openness to receive whatever

comes your way

with

GRACE.

Who is the most VULNERABLE person?

The ONE who asked the question~

“WHO DO YOU SAY I AM?” (Matthew 16:13).

JESUS!

What if you were so

COURAGEOUSLY

VULNERABLE

that you asked

the same question

to the someone

or the someones

who you would be most

VULNERABLE

because

you depend on their

RESPONSE to define you?

Think about it.

You go before the mirror.

First thing in the morning.

And then you ask,

"Mirror mirror on the wall

Who do you say I am?"

What if the mirror responded with,

You are wrinkly.

You are fat.

You are ugly.

You are not good enough.

You are a failure?

Now you are responsible

for your RESPONSE

because you asked the question.

So how do you RESPOND?

Do you make an appointment to have plastic surgery?

Do you start the perfect diet?

Do you find the perfect outfit to make you feel not ugly?

Do you strive harder to prove that you are not a failure.

Do you run back to bed and hide

and live as not good enough?

BUT then you hear the words

that JESUS is asking you,

"WHO DO YOU SAY I AM?".

JESUS is asking you.

JESUS is asking

lil ole

wrinkly

fat

ugly

not good enough

failure you and I.

Think about it.

JESUS is speaking to you.

JESUS

the ONE who said,

"COME TO ME ALL..." (Matthew 11:28).

And ALL means ALL.

And then you

COME to the mirror

and ask the question again,

yet the YOU you are asking

is not a someone who you are seeking approval

is not you

but

JESUS~

"Mirror mirror on the wall,

who do YOU say I am".

And then you see

HIS FACE

and there is no need to hear any words,

because

JESUS is standing with you.

"Therefore there is now no condemnation

[no guilty verdict, no punishment]

for those who are in CHRIST JESUS

[who believe in HIM as personal LORD and SAVIOR]" (Romans 8:1).

VULNERABILITY~

To expose your heart

without the fear

of

rejection,

yet with an openness to receive whatever

comes your way

with

GRACE.

FIRST THINGS FIRST~

BE VULNERABLE WITH JESUS

because HE

knows what it is like to be

VULNERABLE

as HE hung on OUR CROSS.

For who does

JESUS say you are?

"A CHILD OF LOVE"

(listen to the song below)
