Day 17: More Than Enough

TICK. TICK. TICK.

There is no one around.

It is just you and your breath.

The silence is deafening.

You don’t know whether you want to run or just hide.

But If you hid, nothing would change.

You have a choice.

You know where you should go

But you fear that maybe just maybe GOD won’t be enough

Because you are a wee bit angry at HIM because you

don’t like your circumstances and you know that

GOD could change them immediately.

But HE hasn’t.

So what could HE possibly do for you now?

DOUBT overcomes you.

But you know you need to go to HIM.

But you are so weary of clinging to HIM,

in every

TICK, TICK, TICK,

of the day.

But maybe that is why you are still able to breathe.

You do it.

You SHOW UP.

And so does GOD,

because that is

what PEFECT LOVE does.

HE waits for you because PERFECT LOVE

is always available.

And when you show up,

GOD doesn’t even have to say a word,

because just being in HIS PRESENCE

 fills your being with a

PEACE that is beyond just sitting by yourself.

But unless you take the step

to come before GOD,

even though you FEAR HE won't be the ENOUGH

 in the midst of your NOT ENOUGH,

 how would you ever know

unless you

SHOW UP.

And when you do,

you WILL

 experience

that

HE IS MORE THAN ENOUGH!

But what gets in the way of

SHOWING UP?

DOUBT.

For DOUBT DOUBTS GOD'S PROMISES.

DOUBT wonders if

GOD WILL

 fill all those hurting holes in your heart.

DOUBT wonders if

you WILL ever be able to feel JOY again,

when so much has been taken from you.

WILL GOD?

WILL GOD condemn you, like other's have done to you?

WILL GOD forsake you, like other's have?

You know the TRUTH, yet DOUBT overrides the TRUTH.

How do you know unless you SHOW UP.

And then you do,

And there is GOD,

waiting for you like HE always is.

Even though others have forsaken you,

GOD won’t.

Because that is what PERFECT LOVE DOES.

And you keep SHOWING UP,

because you have experienced the epitome

of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE,

and there is no other place you would ever want to be,

because there is no better place then to be with

GOD.

Can you relate?

Well that is part of my story

when I would avoid GOD because

I BELIEVED GOD would let me down too,

like so many others in my life have.

But GOD never gave up on me,

as HIS SON kept knocking on my HEART

and waited for me to answer HIS INVITATION.

My REDEMPTION STORY.

For GOD waits for you to SHOW UP with

EVERYTHING that is on your HEART and MIND, 

so that HE can overwhelm you with

HIS PERFECT LOVE filled with HIS FREE GIFTS of

GRACE & MERCY,

that is wrapped up in

JESUS!

And when you experience

JESUS

you become speechless

as you are overwhelme with IMMEASURABLY MORE than what was lost,

because you are FOUND.

TICK. TICK. TICK.

JESUS INVITES YOU to

"COME TO ME all who are WEARY...."

COME TO ME all who are JOYFUL.

COME TO ME  all who are GRIEVING.

COME TO ME  all who are BITTER.

COME TO ME  all who are GUILTY. 

COME TO ME  all who are SHAMED. 

COME TO ME  all who are REJECTED. 

COME TO ME  all who are _________.

Just COME as you are!

What do you need to bring to JESUS?

TICK. TICK. TICK.

COME TO JESUS

with your ALL

and never leave the same.

"MY JESUS"
